Many of them have never played a game of senior football too. I'm all for improving on Johnson, but it's highly likely that'd have to be through the transfer market, at least this season.

he is what he is. hes been brought in to play a style of football that hes not capable of. hes a counter attacking forward that needs space in behind to get any benefit from him. hes not going to be weighting passes and unlocking defences with football intelligence.

I imagine they rotated a fair bit in the second half but being ripped apart by what was essentially a youth team won't exactly fill them with confidence.

It's a no brainer. Especially when you've got home grown places to consider.

He did really well in the PL2 last season, absolutely no reason why Veliz should be playing in front of him next season imo.

Lankshear will likely go on loan. Dunno if we'll keep Scarlett around, but so far there aren't any noises around him.

We could do a lot worse than him as a squad player for midfield cover. Very tidy ball player and has energy and aggression to go with it. Impressive.
