Nice number, though you'd think that number 5 will be free awfully soon...

Actually on that note, I dare say we might see a fair few changes this summer (don't buy replica kits for your kids too quickly, folks!)

>Romero: currently 17, could take Skipp's 4 or Hojbjerg's 5
>Micky: currently 37, same as above
>Udogie: 38. Nailed on to take Reguilon's number 3
>Someone will nick Gil's number 11 if/when he leaves
Micky wears the number 37 for one of his friends who passed when he was young.
It was a sentimental number to his friend, so he will likely keep that number until he retires.

Romero similar. Has always worn the 17 jersey I believe. His first ever pro club shirt number.

Its meant to be champing, not chomping. :p

Ohhhhhhhhhh.

Oh well, in that case....!

Romero had 4 during his first season. But asked to switch to 17 because that was his number. I think we can assume that he will stick to it.

Ah, fair enough. As SameOldSpurs SameOldSpurs pointed out (which slipped my mind...)

Would expect Vicario and Porro to get the 1 and 2 shirts too.

Probably four first teamers changing their numbers then, all things considered.

It's hell for my OCD just wanting a 1-11 for a starting XI

:ange-facepalm:
