Feels like we're doing much better at moving players on this summer, I assume it's thanks to Lange. Paratici was supposedly really bad at selling players according to Juve fans.

People tend to think their world view is correct and that the people who hold an opposing view are stupid.

In light of that, to the people on both sides of the boring ENIC debate, I offer this admonition:

Dumb People GIF by Djemilah Birnie
Or as my dear departed Gran used to say ‘You can’t educate pork!’ 😁

it's a shame cause I'd actually like to know his thoughts on this, beyond then "1 trophy in X years" mantra. it'd be nice to discuss a bit of context like the years under Jol/Harry/Poch etc

the rise of stat owned super clubs etc.

but there's just no point. it's the same myopic collection of 8-10 posts.
Because the interest on here is for one thing and one thing only, trolling.

Every time there's an angry response on here, up pops the he/she, puppies in tow, to goad as many as possible.

I said it a while ago, the perfect catalyst. Sparks off a reaction but never gets involved in it.

If one of the 3 was Toney why would Brentford be holding it up? They already bought a #9 replace him…

Same goes for Chiesa, they left him off their tour and want him gone ASAP.

Ramsey wouldn’t be wiping their feet with Ramsey either.

Thinking about it, Eze, Neto, Solanke, Gyokeres or someone we’ve not even been linked to make more sense.

‘Ready to go’ could simply mean we’ve agreed player terms but are waiting on the selling club to agree our offer.

So ‘ready to go’ could easily convert to ‘fuck off and pay more money’.

I mean, I’m ready to interfere with Ana de Armas but sadly these things aren’t unilateral.

The way he’s written it definitely comes off like the club have agreed the deal with the selling club but are waiting on the final green light

It’s depressingly Herc/SC ITK level phrasing, so much so that I’m becoming skeptical of this supposed amazing transfer outlay. I do believe there’s a deal to be done for Toney, due to his relative lack of suitors, age, and contract situation, but the rest it seems like we may be getting bent over the barrel for.

No it was a genuine question, just not put very well. Don't all South Koreans need to do National Service? Wouldn't this kid have to do the same at some point? Unless he wins the Asian Cup that is.

I think all South Koreans need to have begun their National Service (3 years ?) before the age of 28 at the latest - unless they win Asian Cup or one or two other specified alternatives.

So its not an immediate concern for our potentially new 18 year old.
