Apologies for the slight deviation to the thread, fancy your chances in our prediction league?

Yep 100%

For what it's worth, I think the club has interest in Chiesa. I don't think we've made any offers or any deal is close but I 100% think it's one we've sent feelers out to if we don't get our targets (whoever they may be), he's someone we'd fall back on (As Gold alluded to would happen)

Moore development has accelerated rapidly. Getting experienced heads in like Chiesa and Werner to add depth to those attacking options (certainly for European competition) whilst Moore is accelerated through the ranks over the course of 12 months may be the clubs interest. He'll be 18 years old at the start of next season, ready to fully deputise for Son.

Who knows. None of us. And tbh none of the journalists seem to know either.
Chiesa is also something that people on here have screamed for. A dribbly right winger.

He's played the vast majority on the right wing (93 pro games), then striker (62) and left winger (61). So he would be a alternative for Johnson mainly.

An he produced 20% of Juventus' league goals last season despite playing out of position and for the greatest of all football terrorists. His ACL injury is of course a question mark but he is without a doubt a very very good footballer and if he actually came here you could argue that he would be one of our five, if not three best players.

Wow just 19 days. It's really going to be Werner - Son - Johnson for the first game ffs

I am not sure I believe anything Gold says. Or most of the journalists tbh. No one seems to really know what we're up to or who's close to buying and selling who.

Gold just asks the club press liaison and they give him the company line. Could be taken as a mouthpiece or a fact checker.

Either way nothing excuses talking about Spurs to the camera for an hour which could be summed up in a text message.

What transfer thread, we haven't actually signed any actual players to start and improve the team....
If you don’t think Archie Gray improves the team, not sure what to say.

Think he gets plenty of starts and likely a first 11 guy for the biggest games by middle of the year.

Bergvall - maybe you don’t consider him a new signing and is prob a bit further from starting, but I’ve seen enough to be really excited about his contribution as a super sub.

We absolutely need help along the front. A premium winger or a striker at the least. Both if possible.

But Gray and Bergvall are really exciting adds to the squad.

His first half an hour is a verbal rerun of the match which everyone has seen, and then how he cutely asked Ange three dumbass questions.

Then he moves on to transfer news, which in all fairness is as informative as anything you could find in the mainstream media.

I gave up watching his dialogues ages ago, for me It's like sucking on a lemon whilst picking a scab.

To be fair, I don't think we should be melting down just yet. It's been a Euros/Copa America summer and aren't even back from the pre-season tour.

Taking a look through our usual rivals in terms of transfer moves thus far, all I'm vaguely jealous of is Calafiori to the scum, Zirkee to United (who have also spent big on Yoro but I don't know if that's a classic case of United spunking money up the wall), and perhaps the 'wonderkids' of Estevao Willian and Savio to Chelsea and City respectively. It doesn't seem like we're the only ones somewhat held up.

As others have pointed it, Liverpool somehow have zero incomings thus far (a nice welcome gift for the new manager there) and I think our own rivals might just look with envious eyes at Archie Gray and Bergvall. We definitely need to upgrade that forward line, and fingers crossed it gets done ASAP.
