No striker or an additional central midfielder is a worry..

Do you think we’ll try and hijack Gallagher? There seems to be fuck all plan and it’s very reactionary and just taking advantage of situations rather than a properly planned out way of doing things. We’ve been interested in him for so long I wouldn’t be surprised if we do.

I‘ve been thinking about Eze too. Are palace really going to sell him after selling Olise, it doesn’t make much sense. That and the fee isnt something that we’d want to pay. It feels like another one the manager wants but we won’t do it.

I guess we are so in the dark on what’s happening we just need to wait and see. I’ve had a nagging doubt all summer that we will fuck this window up one way or another though. Hope I’m wrong.

Came to see if anything is going on.

Just this between the fans of the club and the fans of Daniel

No-one on here is a fan of Daniel over the club.

Look at our outgoings in previous windows. Then look how much has got done this summer already and consider that Emerson, Reguillon and GLC will also likely go and bring some money in.

Haha, well, I agree that it has been better compared to previous windows.

But on the selling side we have been the worst big club in England, only potential competitor being ManU :D . Gone are the days when we milked Hulls and QPRs with players like Wimmer and Palacios and so on.

Now we consider it a success if we RELEASE players we paid for tens of millions of euros. It is not a success. It is not even acceptable (generally speaking - again Ndombelly being total freak transfer). So acting this way should go to minus numbers, not even 0/10.

Solomon played in just FIVE games (two assists) in just five games. How the fuck can anyone suggest that he is not good enough?

Werner scored two goals, and three assists in ten games, joining us in January.

Richy had injuries, and personal issues last season, but netted eleven goals (from just eighteen starts) twenty eight matches altogether.

When you say "not good enough" just how good does a player need to be in order to meet your criteria?

Messiesque?

FFS who do you think we are, and can sign for our forage into the fucking Europa League?

Wake up and smell the coffee.
The man has missed more than a year’s worth of football. Two major injuries in 2 years and has completed 90 minutes twice. Only started 3 games for us. Why is anyone going to bat for him.

The style of player he is I can assure you that he will suffer knee injuries all his career and we will be lucky to get 30 appearances with most coming from the bench and he has only played in 30 games in a season once before.

I have nothing against but that injury record and the fact he has been distinctly average when he has played I wouldn’t waste a squad place on him.

On Gallagher I just think why? No better than Hjojberg and doesn't want to come to us. It's embarrassing if we are interested and defies logic or anything of quality that I have seen in the bloke

The Euros revealed his limitations. Not sure at all what Postecoglou is looking at if he thinks Gallagher is the answer, which is not to say I might be completely wrong.

Eze would be good. I think City bound.

Look, all we have is media stories. Why panic about one transfer link or another. We’ve been told that Lange works very discreetly and of the limelight. I know it’s frustrating but we just have to wait and see.

My guess is that our issues selling players stem from the end of a very successful squad that everyone wanted to buy players from and then switching to attempting to satisfy Jose and Conte with B-Tech win-now type players with very little resale value. Also we haven't had much success recently and clubs want to buy a piece of success not a piece of a club on the decline.

Now that we are back on the path of buying very talented younger players, hopefully the squad is on the up and players will be more attractive to buyers.

This is the real worry for me yet again in this window.

Gray for example, I’m very confident if Brentford hadn’t made their move for him there’s no way we would have went for him at this stage.
We would still have been “keeping our powder dry” “it’s a difficult deal to do” “he’s a Leeds lad” “Leeds might drop their price later in the window.”
We were forced into making that signing at this stage of the window.

This taking advantage of situations is, very reminiscent of the past.
This is classic levy with his paws all over it, and yet he supposedly is taking a back seat on this stuff now.

Hdf do city sell their youngsters for so much money when they’ve hardly had any first team action?
MC have earned about 500M Euro for selling players who did not play for them more than 5 official matches since 2018. That's not counting the money they can earn from the sell on clause players. But you must know they have a training and scouting system that worth hundreds of millions of pounds
