It's not that experience of Levynomics hasn't taught me to think this as well, I'm just refusing to even entertain it as a possibility.
This club needs to finally fucking show it means business, one forward isn't doing that.
It's going to be close to 100m coming in this window, even without selling Richarlison (which i still think might happen).I totally agree but I can’t see us spending £120m on 2 players without some good money coming in too
With new manager who will change the style of play they will be more dangerous.A front four of Kudus, Bowen, Summerville and Fülkrug with Paqueta pulling the strings is pretty tasty, you have to say.

Chavs have 22 of them in the first team so we’re playing catch up.6/8 type of player?
We need another one of those?
unless Bentancur is off to Turkey.
We could have taken a punt at 24M euros? How many games did you watch of the Portuguese league last year?
Solanke scored more goals in the Championship than Gyokeres did in his last season. How do you know Solanke wouldn’t score and assist that many in Portugal?

We defo should have got kudos last year instead of BJ. Cost less as well. I said at the time there were better wide players out there than BJ but Ange wanted him even though he doesn’t even suit his style of play. For conte / low block counter team yes but for high line pocession based no.You've obviously never watched Kudus. Very good player.
I do also think at some point the world class label needs to be toned down around Son. He is a rung below that.
Mbappe, Vinicius, Haaland are world class. Son is not in that category.
No. You are absolutely right, he isn’t. Nowhere near. And I think Solanke is a much better footballer than Armstrong.
I actually just deleted that part of that post because I wrote it out last night and then thought nah…forgot to delete it before replying toStarks and it came out on top of that quote/reply in error.
I just meant It had the feeling of that kind of summer when they got the superstar striker and we got the homegrown not so superstar guy.
Either way, I would still rather we prioritised some creative wide forwards and creative eight.
It's widely believed that Saudis will make a substantial offer for Richarlison.100m?
PEH 16m
Emerson 16m?
Parrott 7m
Rodon 10m
49m roughly so far not sure where you think the rest is coming from?
Levy had 8 years before city got bought. What a massive coincidence that that timeline also coincides with Chelesa and City getting taken over by effective nation states.
prob just a coincidence like I say.
I wonder which two teams have won the most trophies since 2000
WHAT'S THAT YOU SAY?!? Cheslea and City!?!

Yeah number of times Spence raced back and got beyond Davies to help out. Davies is pants needs to go. Spence was doing 3 jobs yday, cover LB, covering for Davies and getting up field as well. How Ange or anyone doesn’t see that he could be useful for us is beyond me.Our problems in the first half had nothing to do with the ball sticking up front. Apart from a very few occasions, the only ball they were getting was a punt upfield from Vicario. The only way the ball was sticking there was if it was coated in velcro.
I agree with the rest of your post, apart from the bit about Spence. I think he was a bit exposed today, because Davies is so slow. Even then though, he still put in a good performance. Wasn't he up against Tel? One of the top young talents in World Football, and Spence wasn't embarrassed by him. If the boy has grown up and shelved the attitude, he'll definitely get games this season, either on the right or the left.
Is that after the 36 hour medical that he passes with flying colours?
New manager is as defensive as the oldWith new manager who will change the style of play they will be more dangerous.
