How Dry should our Powder be?

Meh whatever despite all that it's a stupid argument anyway, all 3 clubs had a significant injury crisis and would have most probably fared better if they didn't so what? Still doesn't take away the fact that we finished above both.

And no offence this coming from you who seems to be mr glass half empty and does whatever it takes to have a pop at your own club you supposedly support, I'm not even sure if I can take what you say seriously, sorry.
Things only improve in life when you have high standards and push for them and don't accept less so I'll take half empty as a badge of pride cos I don't see 1 trophy in 25 years as a reason for the cup to be half full, I don't see finishing above our bitter rivals for 6 odd years in a row with nothing to show for it whilst they not only won trophies but have now gone levels clear of us in the space of 2 season as a reason for the cup to be half full.

Ha you absolute joker.

Spurs net transfer spend per season according to TransferMarkt.com

19/20 - 86m €

20/21 - 97.2m €

21/22 - 61.3m €

22/23 - 141.1m €

23/24 - 151.4m €

How much do you think we should be spending?
How about enough so that we are NOT the most sustainable club in the league - Does being the most sustainable club excite you? Sorry not so much for me …

While other Chairman are desperately trying to find loopholes in FFP so they can spend more on transfers and wages - Our most beloved Chairman is gleeful about being the most profitable and sustainable.

We also have the lowest wage to revenue ratio in the League. Huzzah!!! Wait what? No trophies for that either?!?

On that very same website you'll see he's played 100 of 191 total games as RW vs 51 at LW. But great job on the filters.

Son is not a CF he's a LW and that's where he'll play for us this season - again why are you making that comparison?

The question is whether you'd prefer Fullkrug or Richarlison/Kulu at CF.

A point of fact, Son played a lot of games as CF last season

How do you know he will not next season ?

Yep I'm sure West Ham are buying him because of what he did with Feyenoord 5 years ago.

Son is a CF and a LW these days - you're hilarious by the way thinking that players can't have more than one position yet totally contradicting your own argument by pointing out the very same thing about Summerville but anyway... 😆

Have a look at the same site which and the point is he's a better CF than fucking Mr 1 in 3 for Dortmund in the Bundesliga Niclas Fulkrug in fact he posts a 1 in 3 conversion rate playing as a CFin his entire career and apparently he's better than Son...

Recency bias is killing you people.

BBC are also quoting this 'premier injuries' website - so 3 links but only one actual source

Here's another one for you mate.

That’s what (also) annoys me about enic & levy. Our bitter rivals twice going so close to winning the league.
During a few years when the standard has dropped so there is a genuine chance someone like us could win the title or at least go close. City weaker & pep probably going soon. Liverpool & Chelsea in transition. United still a bit of a mess. It really is open.

If they were proper spurs fans & cared, they would be doing eveything it takes to try & stop Woolwich winning it & more importantly winning it for us for once. Instead they seem more than happy with maybe scraping 4th & then just hoping city stop Woolwich again. We have had 2 wake up calls & still they just not fussed. Happy to finish miles behind Woolwich & our fans seem to lap it up. To be honest they don’t seem fussed with arsenals rise & I am starting to think they wouldn’t care if Woolwich win the title at all.
Spot on!

This is a great attitude to have, ever thought of attending a protest or are you just happy shouting into the void of social media sitting comfortably in your echo chamber and crying over the board all the time?

If you want to be negative that's fine you do you but when you try and manipulate stats and twist context of conversations around just so it fits your negative bias then you gotta expect folk to challenge you.

Yep cos we're at the same level as them quality wise right? Rivals being the top 3 as the manager and his devotees told us it was a title challenge in the 2nd season.
Not losing twice to Chelsea, twice to Woolwich and twice to Wolves is most of the deficit to the teams above us. They weren't all massively better than us. We were only 2 points behind Villa too.

Nothing wrong with a challenge mate not sure about the first bit though, I seem to recall a shrugging of the shoulders from you when presented with facts that confirmed you were, yet again, twisting the truth but hey ho.

You've lost it here.

The original comment was that these two "walk into our team" and you chose to use Son as the comparison rather than Richarlison, Kulu or Johnson.

Son starting doesn't mean those two couldn't also start.
