Who thinks we will be scrambling around on deadline day without signing any offensive reinforcements. It is what Levy did to us last year so we became relieved when we signed Brennan and did the same with Sissoko. He know dreadful transfer window can be saved by a last minute signing

Sissoko was genuinely a panic signing, we had to fight Everton over him...

270k a week but he's only got a year left on his deal.

Loan with option to buy would be great. Cover the bulk of his wages and if he does well we can make it permanent next summer. By then he'd be 29 and he's not going to get that same salary anywhere (except Saudi I suppose) so we would be in a good position to negotiate that down.
I think he could cover both sides too, no?

Never thought he really did much at Bayern though- certainly not 270k a weeks worth.

Those extra k/week might just inch us closer to a Doue xfer fee minus future sale, which Coman would not have for us…

Obviously a data-led pick, seems like a good one as well. Probably the most well-rounded striker in the league, he's got heading, dribbling, link-up play, fast, can hold up the ball. Why are people complaining?

Fbref isn't that great for strikers, it's missing a lot of data (e.g. duels), and so many of the bars there are passing related, which isn't gonna look good for someone playing for a smaller team with less possession.

It does have all the hallmarks of another of those windows. Solanke deadline day special + cheap foreign punt.

No Neto or Eze.

Fbref also tells us Timo Werner is better than Nico Williams though.

Daily reminder that any metrics a professional football club uses aren’t going to be available on FBref. Obviously his goal scoring record is the most important bit for any forward but they’re making decisions with access to data you can’t even conceptualize.
