How Dry should our Powder be?

Right, even I am getting impatient now.

I’ve firmly believed that Levy would step up with a strong football setup and provide money to it once the stadium was built and we had some decent revenue through the door. And I’ve stood by this belief in the face of many on here taking the piss.

But I’m at the point of admitting defeat here. I get the “not as easy as buying a pint of milk” argument, but the window has been open long enough for us to have done some more business. Bergvall and Gray look good, but we need a couple of top quality players in to our first team. And with the money we should have and the infrastructure we have in place, signings shouldn’t be taking this long.

”Hello Mr Player, do you want to join us and if so, what salary are you looking for?” doesn’t seem to be the most time consuming conversation to have. Levy, Lange, etc - fucking get on with it. I’ll admit I’ve been wrong all along unless something major pops soon, but I’ll be fucking furious if I have to.

I wouldn't believe the Saudi rumours all that much tbh.
Hopefully you're right, but I'm just assuming if we are seriously looking to bring in a player (Solanke) for the reported 60m or so, then this is usually only because we are in the process of offloading a player (or two) for that sort of sum. I could be wrong of course and this is completely separate from Richarlison, which hopefully it is.

I'd say that, if Solanke goes through, that puts paid to any chance of Eze though. It shouldn't, but we all know it probably would. Unless Richarlison is sold of course!

Solanke has proven he can score alot of goals in this league so on paper seems a good choice to me , he can just get straight to work in a superior attacking team.
but he doesnt have a sexy profile many crave to make us look bigtime to our rivals

to satisfy people's desire we'd have to break our record by a hell of a lot for a Sesko, openda, Vlahovic, Martinez offer massive wages and then convince them to come
and none of those fancy names are guaranteed to be able to find the back of the net in the premier league

Solanke is also a London boy right?

So even on that front he should have a quick work in regards to settling.

Maybe it's becoming more difficult to attract players to the UK with all the riots going on?

But who's to blame?

Shame, we need a right winger.

No point even comparing Solanke to Toney.
Ange and Arteta have a similar no d’head policy as Arteta demonstrated with Aubameyany,
Toney’s character is never passing an Ange interview and he’s already failed an interview with Arteta.

Apparently El Ahli fans not happy with Richearlson, and have hashtag on social media to protest against the transfer :ange-hands-head:
On one hand I get it, on the other hand he's been one of the best goalscorers in the best league in the world if you look at per minute stats, I can't see them getting anyone better than that. His fitness issues will likely be much better in a lower intensity league.
