We played well in patches, but the simple truth is they’ve got better players than us all over the park. We’ve half pressed and they just get out of it pretty easily most of the time.

Bayern are a world class team. Best to get the shit out the way in friendlies. When the real stuff starts thats when were judged. Slightly concerned though i have to say.
The issue is with Biss who can never be in full 100% concentration in his awareness of the surroundings. It's why he can never reach the potential of a world class player.
What concerns me is that the goals we are conceding can be scored by any opponent. They don’t require anything special. Leicester can easily score the 3 goals that Bayern have scored today.
To have any success as a team you need to be hard to score against. That can be achieved in lots of different ways, parking the bus, suffocating the opponent with a high press, it doesn’t really matter. The key thing is that you mustn’t leave huge spaces between your players. But we do.

Its sad to say but the gulf in quality is far too evident, of course they have the squad n quality of players overall, but its far too palpable.

Set pieces are frustrating but even outside of that Bayern have played through our press very easily and created overloads out wide aplenty.
Our tracking of runners, particularly in MF, is fucking shocking at times. It feels undisciplined.

A lot of really good things but so many poor things. Vicario is absolutely killing his team mates. He’s playing passes I wouldn’t expect Madders to try play.
Wide guys don’t help our full backs at all. We need a wide player that can take on a full back. We can’t always get a cross away straight away.
Positives are Porro on the ball but he’s getting left isolated defensively.

We cant defend, set pieces especially dreadful and we've known that for months. Negligence, arrogance or a bit of both. But the whole shape of the team just feels wrong.
I think some new pairs of pants are needed. Quite a few members have soiled theirs.
