Very excited by the youngsters, and great to see they weren’t intimidated by the mighty Bayern. Don’t know how many will get regular first team action yet, and that’s a dilemma for us. I want to see them all play, but they need to be managed to keep them fit and give them the lengthy careers they deserve. I’m equally scared for them having to deal with so called fans who will decide they’re shit after a mistake or two, and start the vendettas.
There’s the bones of a great team there, but we have to be patient and I feel next season will be difficult. As usual!

I'm genuinely fascinated by the oh it's preseason "you remember that year we won all the games ..." It's not about the results it's about the patterns of play repeated mistakes and continuing issues that seem very much unchanged since seasons end. I'm actually worried about us not as yet fixing the 'broken windows' I'm also intrigued by aspects of who is coaching what. Has anyone seen Mason? Genuinely interested has his profile diminished .
No improvement from last season on defending very worrying.
Going to be a long hard season, set pieces and being carved open so easily is a big problem.
I'd like to see Kulusevski and Bergvall instead of Maddison and Sarr tbh.
But I don't that'll happen. And you can't drop Kulusevski going into the season when he's got the confidence right now so on the right seems logical.
Im quietly confident but we are shipping goals. K league game we let in 3.
He's not fit to play. He's apparently trained all week but nowhere near ready.
I would say that we definitely need another dynamic winger who can take a man on and probably a back up to Udogie. But going off today, I think we are in alright shape with Solanke to come in as well.

Agree about finding his position; but it's a long season and he'll have plenty of chances to force his way off the bench............. Got a bit of work to do yet tho'.
