Had a coach tell me once, everyday when you wake up look yourself in the mirror and understand the person you see in the reflection is the biggest obstacle you will need too over come to be successful - do not be your own worst enemy. Shame a lot of people never realize that.

Hopefully Biss realizes that before it too late.

really think this is him signing his own resignation letter. Him and madders were my two picks who would be out of the starting 11 come October. Such a stupid thing to do as the minute he loses a man or doesn’t track, everyone will point to him not living the life. I think spurs slowly phase him out and fast track his replacement (think it maybe Archie)

Give his no. 8 to someone else and let him have another number. Wasting a space with such stupidity.

I always find him unreliable and playing his own games. Hyping himself and the team up whenever we won and hiding whenever we lost. Just give me another reason to feel perfectly OK to sell him now. A mid-table team player.

Young men like to party. Not everyone is a freak like Cristiano Ronaldo drinking water and doing 1000 sit ups a day.

But this isn't '10 Shots' Trev from the Horse & Hound XI.... This is supposed to be the elite level of the game... Where small margins matter.... Sacrifices need to be made..... Mugs like us pay big money to help fund their astronomical wages.

I don't care about this.

Fans need to shut up about it.

Let it be dealt with internally and stop acting holier than thou about it.

It's faux outrage.

Let it pass.

He is paid millions to represent our club and to be the best footballer he can be for us.

What he did goes well against that and shows a lack of respect for the club, his colleagues, manager and fans.

We’re supposed to be a big club. Therefore I expect our players to be held to the highest standards.

I don’t want him sold but I do want him to learn a lesson.

Nothing ‘faux outrage’ about it.

Very disappointing behaviour, bad enough to do it in the first place but to put it on Snapchat? Shows a total lack of professional self-awareness.

A player like Kyle Walker can get away with this stuff because they have years of world class performances under their belt and substantial credit in the bank. They’ve earned the right to be indulged a bit. But Biss is an average player who has had about 10 good games in 2 years. If his Tottenham career ends over this I don’t think anyone will be too bothered. He has got to shape up because he is wasting his only opportunity to play at the highest level.

Yep, just silly a week out.

Bentancur had a really good half against Bayern - just start him in his place.
He did but against largely Bayern's B Team after they made their subs! Let's not loose site of context here. I wonder how well he would have done against their best players pressing aggressively as they did in the first half??

This is the problem of trying to read too much into preseason games.

Biss was very good in the first half, bar the one time he had the ball taken off him for one of their goals. This happens and will continue to happen (just as it happened last season) because it's our major pattern of play and aggressive teams can predict the play and jump even before the ball is played to him, just as Gnabry(?) did.

I really like Bentacur, but he's played far worse than Biss following his injury, so let's just be careful what we wish for.

I'd like nothing more than to see him back to the way he was before his injury and against Bayern there were signs of this for sure, mainly if you look at how he moved and how aggressive he was, I think this had a bigger influence than what he did on the ball against Bayerns subbed players. He had energy and was making tackles and I thought he backed-up FB's well too.

A key Tottenham midfielder has been forced into a grovelling apology after filming himself inhaling laughing gas and posting it on Snapchat.
Spurs star Yves Bissouma posted a video of himself inhaling nitrous oxide in a chauffeur-driven limousine and laughing between puffs to his private Snapchat account, which the Sun have obtained.
The news comes just a week before Spurs start their Premier League season at Leicester City next Monday night and will be an unwanted distraction for boss Ange Postecoglou and Bissouma's team-mates.

The Mali and former Brighton midfielder, 27, released a statement on Sunday night apologising for his 'severe lack of judgment'.

Bissouma said: 'I want to apologise for these videos. This was a severe lack of judgment.
'I understand how serious this is and the health risks involved, and I also take my responsibility as a footballer and role model very seriously.'

Meanwhile, Tottenham Hotspur told The Sun: 'We are looking into the events.

'This will be dealt with as an internal matter.'

Possession of laughing gas with an intent to use recreationally was made illegal in the UK last year.

Nitrous oxide, known as ‘hippy crack’, is contained in canisters, which can be super-sized.

The canisters are then used to fill balloons which are inhaled to provide a quick ‘high’.

Usage carries a series of risks including heart attack, strokes and brain damage. There have been fatalities among users.

In November, the law was changed to make nitrous oxide a controlled Class C Drug. Possession for inhalation is now deemed a criminal offence although a conviction may be unlikely unless it appears as though there is a desire to supply others.

New, super-sized canisters can deliver 80 times the usual dose, while canisters can be obtained online and relatively cheaply as long as the buyer confirms they are over 18 and it is to be used for food production.

There are concerns that its usage is rife among Premier League footballers with routine drug tests unlikely to detect its presence.

Bissouma is entering his third season with the north London side, having made 56 appearances in total for the club.

Prior to that, the midfielder had been at league rivals Brighton, where he made 124 appearances across four seasons for the Seagulls.

True.

But you also had people overreacting to Bissoumas performance in the Bayern fixture last week after coming on in the second against Bayerns B team too.

Our system basically hinges on that number 6 performing. If that 6 cannot beat the press, we're fucked. Simple as that. Bayern were very aggressive in the press, I think Biss did play in the first half, especially first 15/20 but then it tailed off abit.

It's one of the big reasons why we were so good the opening 10 games last season. Best thing we can hope for is that Bissouma returns to that form consistently and being rotated out later in games for a Bentancur or Gray will do him wonder because it must be absolutely tiring in there

Suspensions galore last season, and now this!!??

This guy is a fucking moron!

Not a single calm moment with this club, is there!?

No going to lie I am so underwhelmed these days it's scary. Sign a new player - yawn....new season around the corner....yawn.

Whenever I think something good might be happening at the club I know it is inevitable that something will happen to fuck it up.

I feel no connection with any of the players apart from Sonny. I look at the fanbase and I don't recognise it.

I feel envious of the fans and posters on here that remain enthusiastic and positive.

I think maybe I've just become a miserable old cunt.

P.S I still want Spurs to win every game. Always will.
