Pretty sure Antony, Casemiro, Martinez, Varane, Bruno et al started when they won the Worthington cup the year before
And I’m sure you’d have put up with Anthony being shit, Casemiro declining horribly, Martinez & Varane being injured for large amounts as they finished 8th.

That leaves Bruno, which is a 20% success rate.

Liverpool also won the league cup whilst playing their schoolboys against Chelsea…

seems to me it’s more about winning DNA, which you can’t cheat your way towards (if you’re not an oil club).

What better place to build ours than on the foundations on our successful youth teams in recent times?

Yeah, but you know, apparently AI is the future so lets embrace it and be the first to base the squad around only AI suggestions
The future with AI...

Moving on from one always injured target in Neto to another one never out of the physio room. We are always after a deal, there is never any fucking strategy.
He’s been linked with Woolwich and Barcelona in the past two days alone. According to some, a Woolwich loan deal has all but happened.
You don’t suppose;
It’s just clickbait from journos based on speculation because he’s a Base client and they’re linking every club who may (or may not) be looking for a winger.
Or
His agent is trying to drum up interest because he’s been told he’s surplus.

I don’t think anyone has a clue if we’re interested or not.

AI's best Premier League squad for the coming season

Ah, assembling the ultimate Premier League dream team—what a delightful challenge! 🌟⚽ Let’s dive into the transfer market and handpick the crème de la crème for our fantasy squad. Keep in mind that this is purely speculative, but hey, it’s all in good fun!
Goalkeeper: Edouard Mendy (Chelsea)
Mendy’s cat-like reflexes and consistent performances have made him one of the league’s top keepers. Plus, he’s got that calm, unflappable demeanor that every defense needs.
Right-Back: Trent Alexander-Arnold (Liverpool)
TAA’s ability to whip in pinpoint crosses and contribute offensively is unmatched. He’s like having an extra midfielder on the pitch.
Center-Backs: Virgil van Dijk (Liverpool) and Ruben Dias (Manchester City)
Van Dijk’s return from injury is like a superhero comeback. Pair him with Dias—the rock-solid Portuguese defender—and you’ve got an impenetrable wall.
Left-Back: Ricardo Calafiori (Woolwich)
A rising star! Calafiori’s defensive prowess and attacking flair make him an exciting addition to any team.
Midfield Trio: Kevin De Bruyne (Manchester City), Bruno Fernandes (Manchester United), and Jude Bellingham (Borussia Dortmund, but let’s pretend he’s back in the Premier League)
De Bruyne’s vision, Fernandes’s creativity, and Bellingham’s tenacity—this midfield would orchestrate symphonies of beautiful football.
Wingers: Phil Foden (Manchester City) and Bukayo Saka (Woolwich)
Foden’s versatility and Saka’s youthful exuberance would terrorize opposing full-backs. Plus, they’re both homegrown talents—extra points for that!
Striker: Erling Haaland (Chelsea)
The Norwegian goal machine. Haaland’s lethal finishing and physical presence would strike fear into any defense.
Manager: Pep Guardiola (Manchester City)
Because assembling this dream team is only half the battle; you need a tactical genius to make it all click.
Now, I know I’ve left out some incredible players—Mohamed Salah, Harry Kane, N’Golo Kanté, and many more—but hey, even my virtual clipboard has limits! 😄
Remember, football is subjective, and everyone has their favorites. If you have any substitutions or additions, feel free to make your own dream lineup! Who knows, maybe our fantasy squad will win the virtual Premier League title. 🏆⚽
And speaking of predictions, have you checked out what the experts are saying about the upcoming season? The Premier League odds and forecasts are buzzing with excitement! 📈🔮
Is there anything else football-related you’d like to discuss? Maybe we can even debate the merits of VAR or reminisce about classic Premier League moments! 🤓⚽

😂

What else shall I ask it?

Foul voted for using context in this thread - obviously we don't do that in here...clearly trolling.

We arent. Not with that injury record or with what he's on.

Now it's the classic spurs where we've made a big move and now we are waiting for the last week of the window when we will do the rest of our signings as we will hope the prices will drop.

I guarantee one thing though. If Gallagher is still at the chavs on the final day of the season, we will bid for him. Can see it coming a mile off.

That's the 2nd season and btw they finished 8th with an FA Cup with all of those signings still a part of their squad, we finished 8th with fuck all trophies just a season before, you know the season they won a cup and finished 3rd.
That leaves Bruno, which is a 20% success rate.
We could have had him but lets not go there.
Liverpool also won the league cup whilst playing their schoolboys against Chelsea…
That was last season no, when United won the FA Cup so not sure about the relevance here.

I wonder, does signing mutliple title and Champions League winners help with a winning DNA?
Nah probably doesn't right because when players are injured or declining, they vanish from the training ground and nobody in the team, especially young players gets to speak to them.
What better place to build ours than on the foundations on our successful youth teams in recent times?
Yeah agreed, our successful academy which has provided 2 players who were good enough to play first team football for the club in Ledley and Kane in the last 25 odd years is what we should build our foundations on in order to be successful.
