Ex-Spurs Player Oliver Skipp

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Always have a soft spot for him. A player who managers will always have good things to say about him but promised nothing in return for game time and development. Think he was hailed by a manager not sure who, that he could become the future captain for us. Unfortunately it's not meant to be.

All the best Skippy. I am sure he will find success somewhere. He is intelligent even outside of football.

It would've been ruthless two seasons ago, at this point it's the best thing we could do for him.
Once shorn of Reggie and Gio we've cut everyone that needed to be this window. Some for free or loans with fees. Or just released. Brutal and not Levy's way.

Skippy although loved was probably going to be surplus to requirements. He's hard working but he can't really do anything in Ange's system.

I'll be sad to see him go - and hope he returns one day. Good local lad, 100% Spurs and always gives 100% for the team and the club, unlike the Bissoumas of this world. I've always been totally pissed off by the cunts who've given him grief on here. Leicester will be a stepping stone in his career - he's still on the up.

Good luck Skippy - many of us will miss you.

Go well, Skippy lad

Best of luck Skippy, such a shame that he got that big injury just as a pathway to the first XI opened up for him. He will be a good PL player, I’m sure.

Sounds like we got a really good fee too, now let’s buy a new midfielder and move forward.

Only coming 24, plenty of legs left on him. Has a full season in the PL where he will start every game when fit. Ever if they get relegated he will be at a club who will be expected to come straight back up. Good luck sir.

Good on him for wanting to go and play football, could have been an absolute superstar for us and was a very exciting prospect before his injury. Never really got back to the same level but won’t do so without regular football. Good luck to him.

Gray is a DEFINITE upgrade on Skipp...
A CM who CAN be utilised as full back...
Ange tried Skippy at LB at the tail end of last season, and CB Pre-Season... I reckon he was seeing who out of him and Gray could cope best...

I guess now he knows!
