I think Solanke will be good for set pieces, big and strong, defensively I mean, but for sure on set pieces all round we need an improvement. We were incredably week on them preseason.

I'm on about open play, the amount of times we have let players ghost in in our fast post because Porrs has had no cover.
I have no stats; but my recollection is more that we get exposed by the cross to the left post rather than the opposite.
How many goals across the season did it cost us?

It doesn't need to always cost us goals to see it's a problem
For example I distinctly remember when we played Woolwich and Porro was isolated the cross came into Saka and Vicario saved it, could have been 0-4 for example
It's definitely done by design and teams were starting to target the area towards the 2nd half of the season.
Sure but objectively what was the number and what’s a decent target to get it down to.
I can bet you for sure the analysis bods know exactly how many goals and XG come from which area and which actions to create the shots. I wonder how the club would be looking at this specific issue…

Foden, Son, Solanke, Saka, Salah, Jota, Palmer, Haaland, Watkins, Isak, Bowen, Eze at least.
2-3 of those will be injured/suspended long enough to have an off year and be behind him, but replace with some of Wood, Mateta, Havertz, Mbuemo, Gordon etc.
