Our attack is pretty static and predictable honestly. Son just really does not want to run to the left end line- only one doing that is Maddison. BJ looks plenty athletic but seemingly unconfident of what to do when he actually gets the ball. Way too much passing around the back and letting the opp get in position- we may as well be playing Conte-ball here.

Johnson only cause for concern. I’ve said many times this summer, no point popping up with a tap in every other game if the time inbetween we are effectively playing with 10! He’s got a massive case of the Sessengnons where he just looks petrified.

Good half, we look in total control. Gotta move it a tad quicker and take our chances.

Madders and Sonny doing plenty good stuff, Micky as quick as ever. Not seen much of Dom, let's feed the beast.
 
It was a very good first half. Sarr and Johnson offering very little though. Udogie is a slack arse and you just don’t know what you’ll get from him. He’s been on it then it’s as if it’s too easy and he fucks about. Bentancur cruising around the pitch. Sonny has got this full back if he wants him. Big Dom just makes us better. He works like fuck and can take the ball in. He’ll score a lot of goals for us.
Madders been excellent tonight and anything good we do comes from him.

Our two centre backs are awesome.
Loads of positives and we just need to be more clinical.

They can’t be as bad but if they open up against us we will carve them open.

Not sure we'll get an easier opponent all season. This lot are fucking mud.

Solanke offers something a bit different his presence will be useful but his touch has been sloppy.

Could easily be watching a game from last season. Lots of control and huff and puff but with Son and Johnson on the wings it's always a bit dodgy.

Good to see Madders looking useful again.

First sub would be Kulu on for Johnson. Get another goal then freshen up with the young lads in midfield.
 
Biggest thing Dom has done for us is completely nullify the opponent’s press by giving us a long out ball whilst also adding a really good press threat himself. He’s an absolute handful regardless of his goals.
 
This could be a good season. Every single of our players knows what he's doing and we are dominating barely braking a sweat. Maddison in the centre of everything first half, a way to go for anyone to replace him when he's on form. Yes I know it's only Leicester
