That's fine if he is happy utter, if it all goes south which it probably will, then he has to be accountable for that.
We are putting too much pressure and emphasis on youngsters, who are inexperienced in this league.
It's asking g for trouble, but he is our manager and it's our team so we have to go with it.
This is the thing, we have some great potential , and if Sonny has a good season and Solanke hits the ground running and chips in with 20+ Goals then we should be top 4 and hopefully one of the cups , I just feel its a lot of If's and a huge risk, and ultimately if it all goes tits up Ange's head will be first on the block!

on the CB/LB sutuation:

"No, and I don't think we're in the same position. I think Radu is a different proposition for us, and certainly with Archie coming into the group and and Djed probably not being in the plans initially, but now in I think we're in a much different position than we were last year.

We've got Ben Davies as well, obviously, who can play at centre back or at left back. But again, I mean, that's the discipline of it. Yeah, we can go out and sign another centre back, but if the right player's not there, I'm not going to do it. It's as simple as that. I'm not, I never have, I never will.

For me, it's about getting the right people in and there wasn't an opportunity for us to bring in someone who I thought was going to add to our group, so we don't do it. We've got Ashley Phillips, we've got young Luka Vuskovic available next year. Two young centre-backs.

I don't want to block their pathway by doing something now. It might look from the outside, like we've got another player, but if that player is not going to be suitable to what we're doing and not going fit in, why would I bring them in and potentially block the path for somebody else."
Yep happy with that but would have preferred we didn't loan Phillips and made him the 4th choice CB. That being said, seems like he likes what he's seen of Archie in the CB position.

They should have asked him about goalkeeper though.

Phillips is still raw and needs consistent game time, and we would've had to cut a player from our Europa squad for him.

So fucking selfish. It’s not just about what you want Ange, it’s about what us fans a want too. And we wanted a fuck load more than a couple kids and the English Richarlison. Ffs

So many in here not happy with this transfer window. Who’s would you prefer??? I think ours has been as good as anybody else’s.
Liverpool have done nothing to improve

City the same

Man Utd have bought poorly again Zirkzee looks poor and doesn’t look fit. De Ligt will get found out with pace of the Prem. the other lad from Bayern is no better than Wan Bissaka,Ugarte is a defensive midfielder who isn’t very good on the ball,in fact he’s quite basic but will make them a bit harder to play through. Yoro is fucked already.

Villa have got worse

Newcastle have done nothing

Woolwich have signed a squad player

Chelsea are an abomination.

Fans always get enticed by the transfer fee but your right wages are the big thing. Think Haaland when including bonuses is 700k a week.

We have cut about £30m of wages per year from 2023 to 2024 according to the below.

I mean its good to keep the wage bill under control but its been obvious the last 3 windows this goes deeper than the surface and probably plays a part in going for younger players. If this means we end up with a new chairman or owners in the next 12 months then its worth it but we'll see, i have my doubts that it will.

City, Goons etc don’t need to go big - they have done recently and also finished miles ahead of us
