Ornstein just said Spurs basically had the best window for addressing their needs.

Yeah the same shit will happen mate. Win a few get spanked a few by city/Liverpool/Woolwich lose and get outplayed by teams like Brighton and beat the cannon fodder at the bottom. End up somewhere between 5th to 7th. Rinse and repeat the season after. Need a good cup run because other than that I can't see a good season coming up as it stands.
I should of stated in terms of the first 11. With Solanke fit I don't think he drops his golden boy Johnson. So it'll effectively be the same first choice barring Solanke.

It could be an amazing window, an average or a shit one.
We looked at Neto, Eze and Gallagher who are all ready made players and got Bergvall, Odoburt and Gray.
All kids, so they could be the dogs bollocks straight away which would be perfect, they could be good in 2 years so an average window or they might not grow how we expect which would make this a poor window.
To judge this window you will need to wait to see what level they can consistently produce.

Look what Juve have done with Chiesa, who, 3 yrs ago, was one of the top players in Europe. Lost pace due to an injury . They paid 50m 3 yrs ago and he’s gone for 10m at 26 yrs old.

They way it looks so far is that we give them GLC for peanuts and in exchange we get the option to buy this guy for 30m or a % of the fee if we decide not to take up the option.
If we have signed contracts with him that makes it sound like we've basically agreed to let Betis keep him one more season. Tbh that ties in with the fact that Ange feels like he needs a Gallagher Joao Gomes type and this is the one he wants but is willing to wait a season to get him.
