Was the feeling on the tube this afternoon. ‘That’ defence with Wanyama & Dembele, then DESK in from of them. Beautiful and all of it built with a vision.

The failure of that team to win a trophy or to have built a dynasty is on Levy as is every knee jerk reaction since - firing Poch, hiring Jose, Conte, Nuno and Ange.

Oh, and Poch’s side could rip teams apart while also defending properly, grinding out wins when needed and changing tactics to match conditions and context.

No point in creating pretty patterns that go nowhere, I wasn't entertained today.
 
Just watched his post match interview.... He's completely away with the fairies. Utterly deluding himself into simplifying things down to "we didn't take our chances".... We didn't create any fucking proper chances you battered sausage. We were slow, lethargic and totally ineffective for the most part. Absolute dross :andros:

Couldnt agree more. And levys ego wouldnt have him back. And thats the problem with this club...the egos in the boardroom.

Football isn’t predictable like that. The competition for 4th is Chelsea and Villa. Both Will have as many issues as us this year.

We finished 5th over 38 games, we will be between 8th and 4th ish again. The ENIC model is pretty consistent.

Today we didn’t have one “we should have scored that chance” against a team missing its 2 best midfielders.

In my team line up days ago I knew exactly what tge starting 11 would be (you can check) because Ange is extremley predictable. Gooners scums weakness in midfield was legs (Jorginho and Partey) but our manager decided to equal out the blatant disadvantage Gooner scum had by playing a single pivot with Bentancur and Kulu and Maddison having some odd free role where there's zero positional discipline. He basically played into Artetas hand with his tactical nativity.

The less said about his utter arrogance in regards to attempting to coach defending set pieces the better. An arrogant arrogant man with no fucking idea.

I beginning to think AngeBall would only work in the EPL if you have a starting 11 of similar quality to Citeh.

A bad day at the office for Ange. Too passive, and showed a lack of courage letting the youngsters stay on the bench.

For some reason we didn't seem to want it as much as Woolwich. No urgency, not even after the goal, no (few) shots and generally to late in the box.

We are not miles off though, and have earned less points than what we should have had at this point. Today, got what we deserved though

Big next weeks coming up, and still hope we can hit some solid form very soon

Yes it did, Conte was never gonna deliver great football, don’t know where people got that. Conte’s always been pragmatic and getting the most out of his teams, which he did at Spurs too, but his football wasn’t on the "attractive" scale.

Then either he had bitch fits or he figured Levy is a massive cheap cunt with no desire to win trophies and we know what happened.

Fuck it, I'm not sure how, but I think there's still a chance we can win the league.

Not true. Maybe in his first season, but he ended up underperforming with predictable, boring football, and left us in a bad place
