It does get us nowhere. The top class managers wont work here because they dont get the types of players they're use to to win and when we do land on a good manager (poch) we dont keep backing him enough to keep the squad ticking over then it all goes stale

We hired top class managers though and that wasn't the silver bullet Levy thought it would be either.
Make a plan that you believe in, stick to the plan, even when it gets really difficult to do that and others around you lose belief and you might have a chance to compete.
Either that or you buy the best talent on the market as they hit their peak but we know these owners won't do that. What are people really expecting to happen.
Does anyone seriously think there is a coach out there who would come to work in these conditions and never have moments where there are doubts that their plan is going to work?
