Given not only our poor start to the season but also the rolling poor form from the back end of last season, it's sensible to have another snap poll on where we are with Ange and our views may well have changed.

Where are you on our manager? Still too early to make the call? Have we been found out? Was he not backed? He needs a full season? Whack your votes in here.

Rather give him the season unless we are in danger of relegation.

1 there is fuck all alternatives, god forbid Southgate ends up here which would sadly not shock me if it happened. It will probably end up Ryan Mason this time long term.

2 constantly sacking managers makes us even less desirable

3 we are actually dominating possession against everyone and also not conceding that many chances, most of our goals this season have been Romero fucks up. I don’t think defence is as problematic as last season.

4 our wingers are average at best which is critical for this system. I don’t know if Odobert, Moore and that new Korean kids in Jan can do much but this is going to be a huge issue for the next manager as well.

If Klopp suddenly decides he wants back then yes of course move but we are not in a great position now. The obvious saviour is Pochettino but he is now USA manager.

I don't think we're in any serious danger right now, but the form has been terrible for the whole calendar year and if it's showing no signs of improvement by the end of November I can easily see Baldy hit the big red panic button. Other managers have been sacked for less.

By then it may have been almost a whole year of garbage, of having West Ham, Chavs and Woolwich coming on our patch with no fear. And I don't think he can survive that.

Now or in five matches is too soon.

We'll know by the end December if this is going to work or not. European rotation along with cup and league will show whether he's capable. Not expecting top 4 but he needs at least to get us winning regularly against teams around and below us.

All that said, we're only 2 points below what this team actually deserves in my opinion (should've won the Leicester match), the squad just isn't that good. Ange isn't a magician.

Finish the season and evaluate him. This is now his squad, no more Emerson Royals. Eric Diers. Pierre Hojbjergs to fall back on when injuries or suspensions hit.

4 games in is a pointless metric league wise. Theres plenty of instances of teams starting slow and ending strong. And right now by right of not playing in anything, we're still in all the cups

The Europa League format runs through until February, so even by then we are still likely to be competing in Europe.

Absolutely no one worth a name is going to come in and "save us" if we get rid of him now anyway. Because all we'd have done is shown every coach in world football that we're happy to start building for someone, only to sack them during a bump along the way.

I'd definitely be on board with this, if it wasn't for how poor we've been since around Christmas time. I'm not worried about specifically these four games just more how this seems to be a continuation of what came last season.

If no improvement in the next 3 league games, which i would say means at least 4 pts so a fairly modest target, plus actual signs that we look better then i cant see the point dragging it out any further. Once a manager gets in a spiral like this they very very rarely turn it around.

The one downside is the candidates out of work, all of them are pretty horrific.

I expect a MARKED improvement in the next 5 or he can fuck off to Australia and go hang out with pleb pleb 🤬

More goals scored and MUCH better defending (I’m looking at you Romero you fucking ass-hat).

No improvement, no more patience.

Ange says that he normally wins something in his 2nd season. If thats the case he can stay until we are knocked out of every competition. At that point, whenever that is, he will have to go.

Changing the manager now or even in a few months time will not make a significant difference. Actually a spell around the bottom half of the table will teach Levy a lesson about the need and importance of buying top class attacking talent.

Mark my words. Ange will start to sort it out and we'll win our cup games and get 6 or 7 points from the next 4. I've tried to keep an open mind (I'm optimistic by default) and have definitely wavered, but we only need some time with a striker in the box to finish things off. Coming back into the toughest defence in the league was always a big ask for Dom.
