Did you not read the last part? I did the quad...just required patience.
"On easy Mode"

We have an easy mode. It's called actually pay the wages to get the players we can clearly afford. City don't typically overspend on transfers - it's the ridiculous wages they pay that ensures they get the cream of the crop. Chelsea and United too, to a degree. Players ultimately go where the money is, if they have a choice and we won't match it.

Richard Arlison Richard Arlison Oh and before you say "Yeah, well you won it on easy mode so the quad doesn't count"

Here's the thing, I started the game as Celtic on the hardest difficulty and was stomping teams 5-0 every game so I said "Fuck me I am a tactical genius" and maybe it was misplaced confidence or something but when I moved to the PL I was having loads of possession but kept losing games (hence the multiple relegations) but I am new to this level of competition (even though I am about to turn 40, don't judge me...) so switching to easy mode was only fair imo.

Now I ALWAYS win, especially in my second season tbh, that's when I did the quad.

I tried to buy the top players and pay the wages but the game kept crashing and for some odd reason a picture of Levy laughing would pop up everytime, I think it's some kind of glitch.

This sounds like one of you cunts on here, I've seen "Postenoclue" and "Aussie Ossie" on these threads.

I haven't listened yet - is it my namesake?

just paying wages doesnt guarantee anything. weve got people in the scouting network that are getting far too much wrong. some horrific signings over the last 5 or so years for big money that clearly wasnt vetted properly.

we paid big money for ndombele and gave him huge wages...no one cared to check on the guys personality and character before signing off all that dough?

city get it right 80% of the time because they have football people who know the game making the decisions, weve got chancers.

Not just a bad start mate, also a bad finish to the end of last season as well.
People can dress it up but, we are seeing much of the same problems that, the manager refuses to acknowledge, he is heading for an early bath unfortunately.
I take on board what your saying your not wrong but Ange is different to any manager
Yep, I've formulated this after defeat to Newcastle - we play defensive football, just that our defending takes place in horseshoe fashion around opposition 16-yard-box. We first and foremost make sure we don't lose the ball, cause conciously or subconciously we are aware that whenever we lose the ball, there are massive gaps behind our lines to exploit.

I am not saying we should run towards oppo goal with eyes closed. But there are moments in every game where we could in fact attack opposition defense that is out of their positions, but we chose not to.

I heard response that "This is awful take on the way we play. This moving ball from side to side creates space." which kinda made me laugh. Where is this space then? Where was it yesterday. it actually results in direct opposite - if ball moves from one wing to another with 4 passes and all players taking minimal 3 touches - it actually allows PERFECT defensive positioning which in turn takes all the room from key areas from our attackers...
Sometimes yesterday it was a little bit annoying constantly playing from side to side when in all reality we just needed to mix it up a little and play through the middle look for ths pass make the runs through etc because there is a danger we become too predictable.

Oh I don't disagree. But we can pay more we choose not to. NDombele is an absolute anomaly of a transfer, a fee and wages we have never done before and is why we won't likely see it too often again. All wrong. Did we buy him just because he bossed City in a knockout of the Champion's League?

It's more along the lines of an Eze, Palmer, Sterling, Neto, Vlahovic, Martinez, Williams, players we can afford that would 100% improve us won't come because they'll have suitors that will pay them more.

Something about a horse and it having bolted already comes to mind here...

I agree that they are out of form and some of them aren't at the level but of I made a combined starting front 3 from us and the goons it would honestly be this:

Son Solanke Saka

No way is Martinelli better than Son or Jesus/Havertz better than Solanke.

Liverpool is harder to work out but probably

Son Jota Salah

Diaz is probably in better form than Son but over a season we know who the better player is. Jota is maybe harsh on Solabke but I can't give us 2/3 against the second best team in the Prem. No matter how positive I am.

City?

Er yeah let's not bother at this point in time.

Our front players are out for form and some of them have limitations but they are limitations magnified by our form. If things click, football can look very different, very quickly/

If our front players are so good, why isn't Ange getting a tune out of them? Has anyone stopped and thought why he isn't getting the best out of the players?

i take your point and your not wrong
i just get the sense Ange is different than most managers we have seen on these shores he will fine tune his tactics in time to suit individual opponents
