I'm absolutely baffled by this thread. We are like a dog chasing their own tail. Give Ange this season ffs and judge him in May! What is sacking him and bringing in someone like Potter going to do mid season 😅

What's Alf Stewart up to these days?

A more likeable Aissie, than our prick

Except he extended his contract and did exactly what he said for another year.

At the time most associated with Feyenoord, club, media and fans, were convinced he was coming to Spurs as long as the financial stuff was agreed with all parties. It all broke down when Feyenoord refused to budge on the release clause. Fair play, they dug in and wanted Slot to stay. After that Slot had no choice but go extend for another year and take them into the CL, hence that previous statement.

I agree that replacing Ange with someone like Graham Potter wouldn't do any good but at the same time we're not going to get anywhere with a coach that refuses to address the problems that are right in front of us. If we go on until May as we have been, we'll finish mid-table at best.

I think Ange has got until around November for his brand of football to materialise in tangible results. At that point, it will be time for Golden Boy to have another go if it still hasn't happened.

I'm not gonna go as far as suggest he wasn't interested in coming; but did he turn us down because he wanted more trf money?

Obviously not......

As I said in the Ndombele thread, Franck Haise is one to watch for the future. He'd be on my list if we were moving on from Ange at the end of the season (which I'm not saying we should....yet)
