carrier bag and coventry and beaten on squad value alone, the fact neither of them were easy is a concern. united next who are in a similar position to us in some ways, then brighton. 1 point from the next 2 be acceptable will it?
So now the value of our players is used as a stick to beat us with too?

The assumption being no lower value squad has ever given a higher value squad a good game, let alone beat them?

You really do find multiple ways to shit on this club don't ya?

Everyone was complaining about Woolwich tactics at the weekend when they went down to 10 men and quite rightly and now we have a manager who is bringing an entertaining style of football to the club which pretty much every fan wanted after the boring sit back counter stuff under Jose, Nuno and Conte.

It's not perfect but it's much better than what we have had to witness and I think there is more to come.
The City cup tie will show the difference. We will try to beat them, Woolwich just try not to lose until City die of boredom.

you are one almighty plum aint ya hahah. yea its a stick to beat them with. fucking fanny. go and make some more pics of ben davies holding ballon d'ors ya weirdo.

Bingo.

They're so caught up in the hate they have for how the club is run that they actively want things to fail or criticise absolutely everything else in hope that they can be proven right as a sort of badge of honor to wear around. And if you don't also share the same miserable existence it means you're somehow happy with how the club is run.

Could win at OT at the weekend and instead of just celebrating like a normal person, the system will be criticised, a moment on the 13th minute where United countered will be highlighted, "oh Man Utd are shit anyway" will be uttered.

Tiresome. Exhausting. Boring.
More often than not the "One swallow doesn't make a summer" trope will get an airing. It did last night.

Anything other than actually taking pleasure from Spurs doing well.

It felt like we pushed the defensive line even higher when we went down to ten. We really seemed to double down on it despite having less people up the pitch to close down and press their players. Seemed utterly bizarre and went against any footballing convention.

But, that isnt what really annoyed me, it was the constant need to take quick free kicks and not slow the game down at all even in the last ten minutes when it was obvious even they'd had enough and some of our players looked shattered. Gray for example was drained of any energy and could easily have got injured but he kept him on. All quite bizarre.

Only a fucking idiot would complain at the tactic Gooner scum adopted when going down to 10 men against MANCHESTER CITY away so to hear "everyone was complaining" is quite something.

I was there yesterday and thought the second half performance was good all things considered. They missed easy chances which would inevitably be finished in the premiership and there were quite a few individual mistakes but for the most part the game seemed somewhat under control. Good atmosphere in the stands with the away end singing a few pro Gooner scum songs and that shitty "Tottenham get battered"..all in good spirits.

I said after the scum game that we needed to win the next three games, which we have done, and then see where we are as I think we will be in a much better position. Saturday was a good atmosphere and I bet it was at the end of the game last night. Got to ignore the online moaning, it is positive at matches and that is what really matters.

After the sending ofg last night the crowd went quiet.
Perhaps many sensed the worst, but the team did respond and kudos to them and ange for it, as they showed some character.
We could have scored a couple more but, they to should of had 3 or 4, only bad finishing let them down.
I think we are all happy with the result, but I can't really get on board with the dire defending and risk taking.
Lots of miss placed passing , static defending it's quite poor to watch, we got away with it last night, I suppose the first few league games when we didn't score has evened itself up.

I was only able to watch the second half and the extended HLs of the first. They had a penalty they shouldn't have had and actually didn't create any other chances second half.

First half Juninho had that great chance he missed but he was offside and VAR would have pulled it up. I know they had dangerous situations but what actual chances did they create?
