Johnson and Solanke have played a lot of football, would give them a rest.
Assuming Biss, Sarr and Kulu start at the weekend so midfield picks itself.
Protect VDVs hammys.
 
For years we ( myself) included have moaned about this competition as its not the CL - however it seems perfect for us at the minute, being able to bed in young players and allowing other squad players to play competitive football, I'd love to see Moore , Bergvail and Gray all get the start however I have a feeling Timo will start.
Hopefully Timo manages to score or assist so his confidence gets a bit better, however I think if its the same as usual then as much as he is a nice guy, we need to give up on the Timo experiment and give his minutes to Moore so he gets a good run of games before we decide if he is capable yet or we need to buy someone else in Jan.
Win this and its looking like we are into the next round and the spurs go marching on towards the cup - have a little feeling this could be our year!

No chance at all Udogie should start this one.
He is still quite fresh off injury list and so far off his best right now. Let him work on his form and play 1 game per week as long as possible. And against AZ it surely is possible.
Nor should we start Son again.
Nor Bergvall - he also has some injury issue, and in his last few performances he has been pretty bad actually. Let him also get up to speed with like 30 minutes sub first. And we had Madders play only 45 in weekend.

My pick would be -

----------------Vic------------------
Gray-Romero-Dragusin-Davies
-----------Bentancur-------------
-----Madders-------Sarr----------
-Johnson--Lankahear-Moore-

That lineup would mean that only Romero and Johnson be only outfield players in starting XI that played more than 45 in weekend.
I'd also be OK with Solanke starting and then maybe Richie coming on for 30 mins. But why not give Lankshear another opportunity?

Home games in Europa will always be 8 I believe
 
If Bergvall not fully fit (how is he?) then we could put a strong and fresh midfield of Bentancur - Sarr - Maddison and rotate more in other areas. No reason to not expect Moore to start again, Dragusin and Gray are probably nailed on to start. Richy, Werner, Davies and Lankshear will probably feature whether if to give others a rest or off the bench if we're cruising.
