Manager Ange Postecoglou

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

I wouldn't sack Ange for now (let's decide at the end of the season, this one is "over" anyway and there's enough banter already). But if we do, I want us to bring in a manager who admits that we are mediocre and adapts his tactics accordingly. We as supporters should do that too probably. Which wouldn't be that much of a problem of we decided to lower the ticket prices about 20%. These high expectations with our mediocre squad are killing us and making us a laughing stock.

We're 8th in the Deloitte money league but there's something very small time about us.

I think Postecoglou made a mistake today, but I am talking after the event.

It's about respecting your opponent and sending the right messages.

Moore will be fine in the long run. Was today the right occasion to start him, over the infuriatingly goal shy Werner? Emotionally yes bur pragmatically maybe not.

Was it not obvious we needed a more robust midfield as Palace would come our scrapping? So in other words, Kulusevski or Maddison - not both.

I hate using hindsight, but maybe we/Postecoglou invited the Palace pressure because of the team selection. I just think it's possible.

Why would you start maddison and Kulu when Sarr came on last week and gave us great stability. Especially away to palace?

What exactly do you expect to see change?
We are in line for 10th place with Ange. This is not a bad squad of players under a good coach.

I dont know about that. Is our squad much worse than Villas or do they just have a really good manager? I agree that our squad isnt the best and it was a feeble summer window but we're better than 8th or 9th. We shouldnt be a team that cant beat the top 10 or win away.

nope, we didnt want to pay 10/12M buy out
£12m to get him, then £12m to sack him in 18 months.
No ta
:levystare:
eth deserves to be under far more pressure though, if he survives this loss to w ham then he should write a survival book
We would still see the gushing fanbois desperately trying to find a stat that proves he can walk on water.
They've all vanished tonight though.
I'm done, wins against utter gobshite do nothing to sway my opinion he's way way way out of his depth.
Garbage for garbage then. At least the other garbage could have a decent day more frequently than Romero.
One is a world cup winner.
A world cup winner who looks like, at club level, he's not practicing defending much.
The players aren't the problem.

Just seen his post match BBC interview. The standard surly, flippant bollocks rounded off with an aggressive dig at the interviewer.

He’s a fucking prick and I want him gone. He’s embarrassing.

Lmao you lot are funny

When Ange first came he was praised for putting the anti-Spurs media in his place with his gruff Australian accent and no nonsense attitude

Now we've lost a few games, he's just some fat Aussie tw*t that is overly rude to our darling media, he should p*ss off back to Home & Away

And that is partly my point. And young Moore, prodigious talent that he may be.

Werner is stronger and will run hard. Sarr, more physical. Bring Moore on for now, when legs are tiring.

It's a lack of match intelligence on Postecoglou's part, arrogance or whatever, but it backfired.
