It's very hard to disagree with anything you've said here....but I want to maintain my position as a cultist of ange-ball, and that when we inevitably get relegated under him and come back up to the PL a season or two later with a new manager, I'll continue to infuriatingly refer to any moment we play excellent attacking football, as well as suicide defending of course...as football inspired by my beloved Ange-ball.
Ange is a “good” manager. 100%.
We have had Poch, Conte and Mourinho. 2 of the greatest managers alive today working in the game. And a lemon obsessed mad man.

hes not a good premier league level manager. he might be "good" in leagues where you can get away with giving a 'any given sunday' speech before a game because the standards poor. this is a big boy league where you need to know your shit, he hasnt got a clue.
Remember that we played a lot less games last season and we struggled then. Now in his second year, weve regressed even further, we’re 9 games into a season and weve got more games to play this season in total. Weve struggled against a club odds on to be relegated and we simply got outplayed and even gave them their first win of the season. Soon the players will be completely deflated and lose faith in Anges “tactics”

Difference being whoever the Liverpool manager is seems to have a working relationship with Fenway Sports Group, whereas the problems between Levy and anyone unlucky enough to manage us are well (not fully) documented.

Think his biggest problem is consistency, when we play well the football can be amazing at times.
But like we have seen today and against Brighton, when it goes wrong or doesn't work, it's as bad as I have personally ever seen.
I don't know if, he is going to be able to get it right, these defeats and bad performances cannot continue for long, I don't think he will be here at the end of the season.
