All those charts, and the pages and pages of gobbledygook remind me of a detailed horoscope reading my wife got years ago. I reckon the horoscope reading was more accurate...and it was complete bollix.
Tbh since dragusin has played weve done well. More prgrammed as a defender than the trendy demand of defenders bringing out from back. VDV is the crown jewel but wouldnt mind seeing vdv and dragusin as defensive partnership for a few games.
I went in hard on Ange last week for getting the team wrong but he's played a blinder since! The more compact game plan worked against City and even starting Werner in that game worked well with his pace. Then today, he got the team right. Big call leaving out Maddison but Deki and Sarr were vital in the win today. But the biggest improvement was the subs, Bissouma on for Bentancur was timed to perfection and he showed serious guts taking off Son. Then when Richarlison got injured, the easy thing to do is go like for like and bring on Werner/Moore but he read the game state, brought on Maddison and moved Kulusevski to the left making us more compact. Great management after probably getting it wrong last week.

Emery is a good tactician and knows how to frustrate teams and cause upsets, but that style of football gets found out in the long run. Cup manager is all he is, but that club are now targeting top 4 and sacrificing cups, so this arrangement won't end well despite all the positive hype about them.
