I'm not really sure what, where or how this pervasive culture thing is supposed to manifest or live. If it exists, what causes it? Where is is it? How is it transmitted? But most importantly: What can be done about it?

I thought Ange was supposed to help with it. An all-or-nothing mindset, a strong character who got respect. But looks like he doesn't have the elite manager skillset to win games.

Personally, I blame a bit of everything. But mostly I blame that twat signing BJ and Werner (twice). I like them, but they aren't top 4 quality at all. Your team is all about goals and it must be soul destroying to see those two fucking shit up on a daily basis.

Imagine putting your body on the line over and over, trying to keep the oppo out, then showing a bit of class and playing out from the back into channels to create a counter, only to see BJ take 3 touches where it had to be first time, or Werner have a shot while he's practically on a sun lounger, sending it into space. What's the fucking point?

We've got the makings of a good team, but we need to be ruthless and upgrade a few of the ones bringing us down.

Defeatist attitude eventually sets in when you realize the club is not actually serious about anything but Top 4 and making money.

Eh. This has been the story since Redknapp left, at least. Doesn't matter who the manager is or who is in the squad. The mentality is broken, weak, accepting of poor performances. Incapable of getting a result if a result is truly needed.

Ho-hum, shit happens, eh mate?

Club needs a culture transplant. Can't buy that in January nor June.
True, but they could bring in 1 or 2 experienced proven winners on top wages and start making the cultural change required in the dressing room.

Of course big wages are this boards kryptonite, along with showing any real ambition.

We could have entered the international break in 3rd. Now we’re 10th. Behind Forest, Brighton, Fulham… what an absolute joke. Some poor bugger paid the best part of £100 for my seat to this. Unbelievable.
