Good half, that period of about 15mins around the goals especially, during that we were first to everything and slick.

Managing the opening 10-15 of the second half is crucial.
 
I'm terrified because now this club makes so little sense, that now that you'd expect us to win, we might royally fuck it up.

As for the first half, apart from the opening 7 minutes, fucking sensational. With a bit better decision making we could've had another 1 or 2. Madders and Kulusevski have been brilliant, Sarr has absolutely dominated the midfield as well. As for the defence, this is the Dragusin that we thought that we bought from Genoa.
 
We do play pretty great ball when we are forced to play on the counter.

I still am pissed off we can play a half like this but lose to fucking Ipswich. This club is maddening.
 
Continue our first half improvement and mark Haaland out of the game and we’ve a great chance of winning this game.

I know City have injuries but they’ve never really replaced a prime Sterling or Mahrez. Savinho looks a handful but to date, nothing more. It’s like they’ve replaced quality with potential but not with elite youngsters (Musiala, Bellingham, Wirtz etc) that were required.
 
You can see there's something to the way we play worth perserving with. We're inconsistent, and prone to spectacular self destruction but there's something there potentially exquisite.
Think if you throw 100 million at the defence and another 50 million on the wing (quality not fleeced by relegation teams) and we'd be something to see
 
First few minutes and I thought we were on to a thrashing but the goals changed it. We did what keeps happening to us score with our first shot. 2nd half will be nerve wracking and I hope we do not fold when they inevitably score.
