Are you suggesting what I think you are, that we should lose two games in a row
But if you ignore them , we haven't lost anyWe have lost 5 PL matches. Only Leicester, Wolves, Palace & Saints have lost more.
We are 2 points behind the goons. Are they in crisis? We have lost 5 PL matches. Only Leicester, Wolves, Palace & Saints have lost more.

22-19=3
They have been waiting for Arteta's project to work. It's phase 6 or something.
We've got 9 games in December. 7 EPL, 1 EL and 1 Carabao Cup
Also there are our injury issues, what is it, 6 out?
We're going to have rotate in some of the youngsters.
Then there is the 5 yellow cards issue...Bent & VDV on 4, Kulu & Biss on 3
I'd be happy with 5 wins, 2 draws and 2 losses

I get the routine of what happens on any given day is off by a day, but in terms of tiredness/recovery, surely a 3 day gap is a 3 day gap, no?
...we often played 2 games in CONSECUTIVE days over Christmas in the good old,old days!

When Tottenham played two games in two days in 1994/95
Wednesday's London derby against West Ham is Tottenham’s second game in three days but 24 years ago they had to play on consecutive days as part of a run of a Christmas schedule of four league matches in eight days.www.standard.co.uk
I knew I hadn't dreamt it ... I was AT the Palace game... Dire and dull and 0-0....
But played 24 HOURS after we beat Norwich!
TWENTY FOUR HOURS COUNCELLER!
