Porro looked knackered after playing so many games. We have a RB on the bench, who’s fresh as hasn’t played much (again I blame that on Ange), yet Spence has been totally ignored.
Son is not a striker and is more effective on the wing. We have a striker on the bench, albeit still youthful , but nonetheless, he’s a proper striker. Should have been on much earlier than the 2 or so minutes given to him.
Kulu should have been on earlier too, as it was clear that we needed him .
Haven’t been active on the forum for weeks because, frankly, it’s been insufferable. Too many posters seem more interested in trolling and baiting reactions rather than engaging in meaningful debate. Whether we win or lose, it feels like people are just looking to score points instead of discussing football constructively.
Taking a step back has allowed me to watch the games without the distraction of the forum, and honestly, I’ve come to the conclusion that we’re not playing anywhere near our potential.
Yes, we’ve had the occasional standout result, like against City, but those moments only paper over the cracks. Our bread-and-butter league games often slip away due to poor in-game management and baffling tactical decisions. While I understand the squad is currently a bit hobbled, that’s not an excuse for what’s clearly been a recurring issue throughout the season—even when we had a healthier squad.
With that in mind, I have to agree with your assessment here mate, it's simply not good enough. I said earlier in the season the most consistent thing about Ange's Spurs will be our inconsistency and it seems to be sadly the case, I wish it were not.
Take 4 integral players out of any team in the premier league and see if it makes a difference... answer is ... yes, a massive difference.

I think most teams would struggle without a recognised striker.
The issue is that we don't have anyone who is a consistent game-changer in this squad, and we are too soft.
Whether that is able to be rectified I don't know.
For today I am content but maybe because I have no expectation. Not necessarily a good thing.

In defence or attack nothing is changing, nothing improving, and even with players coming in for injured players no fresh ideas.
From my point of view if Ange can't improve the players he's brought in, Levy shouldn't give him any more money.
