Match *** Tottenham Hotspur v Fulham Sunday 1st Dec 1:30 GMT ****

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Spoke to 1882 1882 .

He wanted to apologise unreservedly to the forum. In particular reprobate reprobate Go on son and skywalker68 and anyone else that was compelled to reply.

No excuses, but in a nutshell fell off the wagon in spectacular style. His Jewish roots and upbringing have made him 'somewhat bitter' on the Jewish thing being used against Spurs.

As I said yesterday I will just add that 1882 1882 is lovely bloke in real life and you will not find a single TFC poster who has met him that would say otherwise.

We all make mistakes. Some unfortunately are in the public domain. Shame he has been cancelled for one mistake but that's modern life.

I for one would welcome him back.

I said I thought he just had a moment.

Least he has had a chance to explain himself.

One of the interesting things for me is when you look at the table and look at the form line , everybody bar Liverpool is playing very inconsistently , no one is stringing wins together bar Liverpool .
The crazy thing is that if we had beaten Palace, Fulham, Ipswich and Brighton (all matches we were capable of winning) we would currently be two points behind Liverpool and viable title contenders.

Lots of double standards here.
I don't know the fella from Adam or Eve, so I'll take your word for it as to his true character, especially as I do value your judgment and that of Mrs Perryman Mrs Perryman .

What he posted yesterday was vile and I was absolutely stunned to hear he's Jewish himself...I'm really struggling to make sense of it all?!?!

But hey, it's life and we've all made mistakes and said stupid things many times over, especially under some kind of emotional distress. Heck, I once told my old man - who was a horrible bastard to me throughout my childhood & teenage years - that I was going to kill him. We're perfectly fine today. I also had a period when I really wasn't a fan of men who love men...after a 40yo tried to have his way with me when I was only a 15yo lad. Nowadays I have loads of gay pals, I've been to gay nightclubs more times than I been to straight ones. You do silly shit but then you learn, you evolve, you become a better person.

As someone who is bipolar, I also know a fair bit about mental health and what a bitch it can be, the impact it can have on one's life, mood, actions, words. So if 1882 1882 is going through some serious enough struggles and that's what's behind his outburst from yesterday, well I hope he finds a way to deal with it and gets back on track. If I happen to run into him at a game and he wants to grab a pint and talk about it all, I'll give him the benefit of the doubt and that second chance.

The crazy thing is, if we had lost to Coventry, Qarabag, Ferencvaros and AZ...all matches we showed we were capable of losing...imagine where we'd be today.

Was pissed off for about 2 hours after yesterdays game and then it faded. Woke up this morning just feeling utterly bored of Tottenham Hotspur FC.

Anyone else feel the same?

I already know how this season is going to play out. We will lose the Carling Cup QF to a reinvigorated Man Utd. We will lose to the first decent side we play in the Europa in either the QF or SF. FA cup similar.

And we will end up somewhere between 6th & 9th in the league. We will watch a bit of entertaining football and probably win a few games we aren't expected to win while dropping points in games we should win.

At some point the fans will lose patience with Ange and he will be sacked. Might be the summer, might be sooner.

And then we will start the new "latest project Tottenham Hotspur" There will be a new manager lift for about 6 months and then the whole cycle will begin again.

Meanwhile other serious football clubs will compete for big trophies and they will cycle in and out for their turn at the trough.
While we erect new Hotels and find new interesting corporate ways to fleece the fans. Trying to stoke the illusion of competing at the top but when you pull back the curtain there is no wizard its just a bald cunt behind a curtain.

Nothing is changing and that's the boring and depressing part.

Just stuck in a cycle of perpetual mediocrity. I mean... we aren't a bad football club, we can play entertaining football and beat anyone on our day. But that's our ceiling.

Anyone else feeling the ennui?

I've been in touch with him too and he has asked me to pass on his sincere apologies for everything, he knows he let himself down and will miss being on here. He's going to take some time away from the game and regroup.
Being a Spurs supporter should come with a health warning, they engage our emotions in such a way that is not always good for us.
Admin Admin , I know that he regrets his actions and hope that you can show some leniency and let him return soon.

One thing that really grated is with Fulham down to 10 instead of going for the jugular we took off Maddison, and if anything Fulham were still creating the better opportunities. With about ten minutes to go if you include stoppage time against ten men we settled for the point.

We never really looked threatening at all.

Honestly, watching live in the stadium, I looked down at Son and a few others trudging to the halfway line, shoulders dropped, heads down. I literally said to the people i sit with "look at the state of that body language"
It was genuinely shocking. I don't remember us looking like that for a very long time. Usually if we concede there's some chest beating, the ball gets picked up and ran back to the halfway line and they're trying to make amends. But they looked like "we've been here before, over and over, and we're fed up with it"
theyve had enough playing for fred flintstone. sons not a leader full stop that was an horrendous choice as captain that proves he knows fuck all about the game. but look at maddison, he was completely different a year ago! they are fed up of this cunt and who can blame them.

If players are tired playing 2 games a week, slow down in training.
Don't waste players by sitting them on the bench.

If anyone thinks Deki was tired, what the actual fuck was Son?

I have complete apathy with Spurs and our season at the moment.

Some of us told you back in September how appalling our summer window was, yet I kept seeing Bergval and Gray in people's starting 11s, do you realise how deluded it all was back then?

Levy pulls the wool over your eyes every year. We aren't a serious club. Linked with Neto and Eze and end up with Odebert, Gray and Bergval was an absolute pisstake.

Levy clearly needs to go.

However despite all of that, it is quite obvious that Ange is not getting anytthing close to the best out of the team and squad. You can blame injuries for yesterday all you want, however this has been happening for a year now. It's not a one off. What was the excuse v Palace when we had a strong side out? So the Ange fanboys can excuse yesterday as tiredness, but for the others it is quite clear we are going nowhere under this fraud.

We are such a poor side. There will always be games when it "clicks" because we go all out attack. But for the majority of games we will drop points against dross because we are set up so poorly tactically. Every week my observation that we are just a richer Bielsa Leeds team is more accurate.

We are back to the 90s Spurs. And that is fucking sad to see.

Completely mate. I have lost all interest in Spurs right now. We will lose to United in the cup guaranteed. We will lose at Bournemouth and v Chelsea.

Hopefully the useless fk gets sacked by Xmas, because this season is a write off.

The keepers aren't good enough.

The defence ain't good enough.

The CM options aren't good enough.

The attack ain't good enough.

Our coaching staff is laughable.

Our board? Don't get me started.

The only ones who are good enough at Spurs are the (long-suffering) fans.

There's a reason we don't win anything, why top managers won't touch us with a borrowed dick, why elite players laugh at the idea of joining Spurs, why the media mock us.

You almost covered all the bases.....no mention of the laughable medical department? :paraticiwink:

When last season ended, we had the whole of July and a bit of August to prepare. You would expect a new approach, motivation, mentality. But the team can't win games in a row. Look at Liverpool, they've changed managers and they're flying. Tottenham are lukewarm, sitting on the fence. Do they want to win? What do they want? Yes, there are players injured, but they've been playing together for so long. There are games where it seems like there's no synergy, no rush.

Yes. Been feeling this way since 2019.

There's been a few nice moments since then but basically we are in the ENIC end game, treading water. We've been essentially the same since the appointment of AVB, - other than the Poch era which was the exception that proves the rule.

Liverpool have a much better squad than us.

They also have star quality which we don't.

He was outstanding v Citeh, rn himself into the ground Sunday
Ran himself into the ground v Roma Thurs, looked exhausted after about 70mins
We just cannot start him every match
Why not? Many top players play 2 games a week. Including some a lot older than him. I don’t believe young, fit athletes can’t play 2 games a week. They don’t do anything else.

A bit too soft in the way we think at this club for my liking.
