Apart from the fact that there hasn’t been an injury crisis all season, yet these same results and patterns have persisted regardless. Let’s not pretend this is some sudden development or an excuse for the performances we’ve been seeing for months.

What we’re witnessing isn’t just bad luck with injuries—it’s a manager desperately deflecting criticism to protect himself at the expense of the football club. And frankly, your attempt to frame my criticism as though I’m acting like he’s personally spat in my face is just another layer of deflection. The reality is, this isn’t about personal offense at all—it’s about standards that I expect from this football club and the manager of it.

I wrote what I wrote because, imo, he doesn’t deserve to be the manager of this football club (like I said, others have been sacked for far less) and it’s frankly insulting to see people continuously handwave his behavior.

How can anyone justify this level of protection for a manager who has delivered so little for us at this point? I’ve never seen a fanbase bend over backward like this for someone whose achievements here are nonexistent, you could argue that we are objectively worse results wise despite playing "better football" Perhaps the real question is: why are you so determined to defend the indefensible?
We lost 2-0 to Chelsea and 4-0 to Newcastle last season when we were at pretty much full strength and both of them were "bare bones"
When we lost to Palace, Son was the only senior player missing. And he's been shite most of the season.
Similar for Brighton.
It's injuries when there are injuries. so what is it when there's not injuries?

makes me laugh this. how on earth is this perceived to be good football anyway? whats good about it? the fact its entertaining for neutrals because we are so shit? good football is football that wins games, it doesnt have to be tiki taka, it can be straight out of serie A in the 90s where 1-0 wins were respected as clean professional jobs.

All these people who believe Ange should be sacked, realistically who do you bring in? What top manager in their right mind is going to come to Spurs in it's current state, working with a limited wage budget and transfer budget, with demands to target top 4 over any trophy, and have the fans on them from day one?

It's a genuine question... Who would we attract?
lol, a lot of managers would like to come here.

Dealing with pressure is part of the job.

Agreed. Forster, Davies, Werner are a massive drop off from Vicario, VDV and Solanke. The squad depth doesn't have enough quality to handle this many injuries.

Bringng on Bergval and Lankshear yesterday to try and win a game is more proof!
Forster and Davies were excellent yesterday. In fact Davies has been excellent since VDV got injured.

Werner and Solanke is apples and oranges. Werner did fine yesterday, it was Son who stepped into Solankes spot yesterday and was posted missing. But it's trendier and easier to bash Werner.

Taking off Maddison when we were looking for a winner against 10 men was absurd. It was a sign we were settling for the point. Cowardly.

It's a myth and one that has been perpetrated by the media because the games are entertaining for neutrals because of how open they are and by our own supporters who think anything is better than Conte ball.

Just need to stay strong and see where we are at end of season. Ange said he wins something by season 2 so thats his benchmark.
Exactly. Reasses in MAy when we have a much clearer picture of where we are at as a club. Impossible to have a strong read on the team at the moment. We are flawless some games and then look clueless the next.

Everyone is handpicking their own games to suit whatever side of the agenda they are on. The truth is somewhere in the middle and its impossible to have a strong read on what the truth is right now.

to be fair if some mugs like villa had their FB's occupying the playmakers space and leaving two at the back all the way up to the halfway line, id tune in too for a laugh and some entertainment. neanderthal football.

or trying to squeeze the opposition into their 18 yard box and have son and johnson trying to play in tight spaces...hilarious.

I don’t find all this losing, dropping points from winning positions, always conceding, and generally looking shit anytime we’re not playing City to be ‘entertaining football’.

Well, by all the metrics, he should be sacked. Sacking him being a good choice is a different matter though. It depends on how much you trust Levy to replace him with someone who can do a better job within the structure the owners have created, which is frankly, a losing environment.

I think the real question is, is it possible that someone else coming in could do worse than Ange? Or is it more likely they will outperform him?

Except in this case its bullshit. Of course journalists are going to talk/reference the fact we went to City's ground 4-0 but in between that lost to Ipswich and got completely outplayed at home to Fulham. As if they wouldn't do the same for ANY club and point out the inconsistency and game raising tendencies.

But yeah, much better to bring up some sort of victim complex and act like its because the meanie media hate us rather than accept its a valid fucking question.
Sorry mate, I don’t rate anything you say because you’re just a one eyed Ange out cultist. Fair play to you, we’re all allowed our opinion.
And you obviously didn’t watch the presser, or comprehended what was said. The squad has been annihilated. And it’s a very light squad to start with.
And for what it’s worth, if Ange doesn’t turn it around by seasons end and either win a trophy and/or finish top 5, sack him. He’ll probably resign tbh. Because Ange is a quality manager. You all sneer and carry on at his credentials. Managed at 2 world cups, yes boo hoo the A League but set it on fire. Same in Japan and Scotland. Football is football and tbh you can’t get any higher than a World Cup.
I have faith still. Let’s see what happens when everyone is back on deck.
And as for all the experts on here talking tactics. If you’re so good why aren’t you managing? 🤦‍♂️

We should go balls deep to get Iraola out of Bournemouth before City move in from Pep.

We tried that with Conte and it didn’t work

Oh no the Aussie fanboy who literally would stick by Ange no matter what because he shares his nationality doesn’t rate what I say!!!!

Yeah he did well in some backwater leagues. I could name about fifty complete nobodies who have managed in a World Cup. Gareth Southgate has got to Euro finals and World Cup semi finals, shall we hire him tomorrow?

‘Set the A league on fire’

Mate the A league is Npower League one level at absolute best, nobody fucking cares, seriously.
