Bloody right I'm worried about Bournemouth tomorrow night.

Not only have our standards dropped in certain areas, or should I say the level of our players have dropped over the past few years, but in case you haven't noticed, Bournemouth's standards have risen and they are pretty decent at home and will give everyone a tough game there.

We've just recently lost against Palace, Ipswich and struggled badly on Sunday against Fulham too. I'd say that those games are easier on paper than Bournemouth away.

So yeah. Very worried.
We've just had a couple of poor performances so I think we're due a good one tomorrow night. I think it all hinges on whether Ange is big enough to play Spence and give Porro the rest he needs. There's no point playing a player who isn't fit - no matter how good he is.

Agree with your post, but listening to his presser when asked about Spence he didn't seem to keen. Time will tell.

True yes. Though there's young, very good and expensive. And then there's young and less good, and cheap (at least on wages). We went for the latter!

ok, but i'm dissappointed with the attacking football. We fail to utilise pace. We don't take players on 1v1 enough. We don't shoot enough and hesitate and fluff a final pass. We don't get it out quick enough from the back often. We're too predictable.

Maybe a selective bunch of stats "disprove" this. But it's what we see.

Last season we were 4th highest for number of take-ons and 5th highest for successful take-ons behind Wolves, Bournemouth, Chelsea and City. Woolwich were 15th.

We had the 4th highest number of shots after Liverpool, City and Woolwich.

This season we're 2nd for attempted take-ons but only 6th for successful take-ons. It's why Odobert and Moore are in the pipeline.

We're 2nd behind City for number of shots taken this season. We're 4th lowest in terms of shots per goal scored which means we're being a bit selective about when to shoot, which can create the impression that we're not shooting enough.

You jest.

We are spineless and if we lost it would not surprise me.

If Postecoglou picks certain players it is more than possible.

Romero and Bissouma as I wrote last night would hand the advantage to Tamworth.
You've totally lost the plot. You're talking about two experienced, senior international players against 5th division part time plumbers*. Our first team should be beating them playing at 50%. If Ange plays the youth team then we can talk.

Romero and Biss may sometimes not cover themselves in glory against PL opposition, Bournemouth is a banana skin, but this fear of Tamworth is a ridiculous position to hold.

* I'm not even exaggerating, they are part timers, even the manager:

I'm not looking forward to this game at all. Feels like the type of game we will lose, especially with all the players missing. Also Bournmouth had their best player Semenyo suspended at the weekend so he'll be fresh and ready to absolutely burn Udogie.

I've a bad feeling about this one. I think we need to rest Son tonight too. I'd love to see Gray get a start in midfield, use the squad a little more! We are looking awful leggy

I asked my Labrador/border collie councillor for a prediction for today and she went and grabbed a tennis ball. I think she is Ange out and I’m on the way to joining her. Or she could be a loveable idiot or maybe that’s me.
I think most of you that post the most need more than a hug, fuck sake. If we lose today… good grief, what’s really gonna happen
