Match Tottenham v Chelsea - December 8th - 4:30pm KO

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

I can’t forgive the immaturity and cowardice of these players sorry. Fraser Forster excluded

We should have been playing against 10 men
We lost to two penalties - brainless and our right back bottling a challenge on the ball, coward.
The ref as usual played into their hands (Kulu’s offense couldn’t have occurred against one less midfielder)
Change the roster

Chelsea are the second best team in the EPL.
And we could/should have scored a couple more.
We aren’t the second best team in the premier league and we used to be but our owners don’t care about winning.

Didn’t watch the game and I’m glad I missed it. I’m fully bored of this club in the premier league. I’ll watch the Europa and cups but we need to face the truth that under these owners, winning any of them is longer odds than betting on a one legged donkey to win the grand national.

What happened to the protests?

To me seemed like we made a team selection (injured CB's) and came out with pure desperation. Then tried to make a statement and play the fastest, furious press, most open game imaginable and largely shot our load in the first half hour.

Unfortunately this managerial regime feels pretty over. Glimpses of good things, injuries don't help, but ultimately it's way too open, too lax, too wild, from both the collective and as individuals. You can't do anything in this day and age playing such helter-skelter lottery football.

Even at 2-0 up - constant chaos. Easy to play against & the defence is constantly exposed. City win masked it but we are either insipid or being opened up. No evidence we are improving. In fact we are getting worse. Time to admit it isn’t working.

Even the win against Man City is not because we did well tbh. Man City didnt win 7 matches in a row. Their form is shit.

Yeah, unfortunately I've come round to that way of thinkinking.

But the disease lies deeper than Postecoglou or ENIC I feel and I've no idea how to cure it.
It’s ENIC Bill.

We’re long suffering fans that have been conditioned to accept our lot. Nothing wrong with that; we’ve had some great times.

But ENIC are an anachronism. They have no interest in the casino like gambling of high stakes football. They hedge everything, always plotting success just over the horizon, a Xanadu that never arrives.

Nothing we can do about it, of course. But with different ownership, we would be an entirely different beast.

We're tied with West Ham for the most defeats in the top 15.

Leicester also got 7 Ls. Ipswich have lost 8. Wolves are on 9. So'ton on 12.

Forest, Villa, Brighton, B'mouth, Brentford, Fulham, Newcastle, United, Everton & Palace + the top 4 have fewer defeats...that's 14 teams.

Levys ego wint admit it was a massive mistake firing poch.
I didn’t want Poch to go either, but if we’re honest with ourselves the CL Final loss broke him, as it did a lot of the players at the time.

We didn’t have the mentality to fight back in the way Liverpool did the year before.

There was a feeling we couldn’t repeat it and it showed in our performance for the start of the next season.

Just defend a two goal fucking lead

Just start slowing it down when you go two up......take your time on throw ins and corners

Go down and stay down that little bit longer.

Don't flood forward and leave one man in your own half time and time again.
Kane did that everytime he was fouled, spent 30 seconds pulling up his socks before standing up. Knocks the opponents momentum big time

Chelsea look better than the Arses

They’re what we should have been to a degree. New manager, early season and they looked like a train crash in the making.

Now look at them, they’re absolutely flying. Look at Maresca - barking orders, telling his subs what to do, adjusting his in game approach and so on. What do we get? going backwards at a rate of knots and a manager who spends the whole game staring into space, offering little to no instructions and makes subs post falling apart.

Inexcusable to be two up at home and still get embarrassed this badly by Chelsea.

I knew we would lose this game and was not looking forward to it at all but in typical Spurs fashion scoring a couple early goals had me thinking this time was different.

Of course this time wasn't different, it never fucking is. Same old Spurs, same disappointment and anguish. Fuck it all.
Doing their best to fuck us up HARD. Darn creative to be thinking of new script everytime.

Did Conte not get us 4th? And left us there again?

We were also knocked out of the fa cup and league cup straight away, and the cl at the first knockout round
:contekiss:

The club has a deep deep sickness, you can keep sacking managers all you want but you'll ALWAYS COME BACK TO THIS FEELING

It will only change when the mentality from the board changes, and that won't change because they're not here to win
