Fair enough. I was at the home Semi and replay v Woolwich in the Littlewoods cup in 87 when Clive Allen opened the scoring in all 3 matches. We were all over them from start to finish.That was my first proper experience of Spursy. Should have given up then!Right (and a relegation!); and now the game in this country is dominated by petro-doping (by 2 clubs whom have since been rumbled for cheating) meaning that domestic cups are far tougher to bag.

In fairness, when the feeling has been shit. The club has gone big in terms of appointing a manager. Mourinho was out of a job, but his appointment, if you include getting his preferred coaches out of the clubs that they were in (Sacramento at Lille, his GK coach somewhere) and his wages, was not a cheap one. Conte's appointment likewise, if you see how high his wages were, wasn't a cheap one. I don't neccessarily think we're restricted to a "cheap" appointment. It's just that we act cheap once we've made the appointment. Once the bad feeling has been placated.
It's the absolute worst possible kind of game for our current fragile team.

Sarr is not good enough to start for a team like Spurs. Will have the occasional great game, score the odd stunner...but he's so far from the level the majority of the time. Great engine, zero friggin intelligence.
