What - Levy LEARNS from his mistakes?

2 good managerial apptmnts in 25 years and he's still fucking them up?!?!?
If he wins the cup it provides him and his manager with cover for the rest of the year in the minds of many, and last time he was raked over for not prioritizing a cup final over sacking the manager. I don't think he would do it even for this tie.

Besides, if he wanted someone new in for the cup match the time would have been Monday after Chavs. The new one would've maybe had tonight and Sunday to get things moving. I wouldn't give anything for the chance Levy would sack Ange tonight or next week until after the match if we're losing it.

I'm pretty sure that a "yes, we want Mason/assistant in charge for United" - so thank you.

It's a perfectly valid opinion. Don't know why some people seem so afraid of just fucking saying it on the record.

Yep. Like Utd did, got rid of Ten Haag, stuck RvN in charge for a couple of games until their new guy was in place.

If I remember correctly, we sacked AvB, stuck Sherwood in charge and improved. And then we got Poch. I'm not against similar here, the gamble we took with Ange is a bust, it's time to change.

We're almost not a team anymore. The only way to bare watching us play is to concentrate on individual players. So Bergvall was looking decent again today. Some crisp strong passings. Other than that by no surprise Forster was a standout. Finding big Fraser Forster one of not so many likeable faces in this group lately. Seeing Son as he is just makes me sad. But I wonder if a different menager could still get 1-2 super sub seasons out of him. Ange clearly has no idea how to use him though.

My post pretty much says it all, doesn’t it? No decoding required.

Ange should be sacked, Mason has just as much of a chance winning that game as Ange does so why bother keeping Ange at the club to do more long term damage?

This isn't a Jose situation here where he could and likely would have actually won us a trophy but we sacked him before a final, this is Ange we are talking about.

It's better to get a caretaker in while we search for another manager is it not? The longer he is here, the longer that search gets delayed (tbh they should be looking for one as we speak.)

My question to you is, how does keeping Ange in the job benefit the football club at this point?

That's cool. I was just looking for a definitive answer to the short term question.

I myself would stick with Ange but I'm a romantic.

I also think Mason did a good job in our Cup Final after the Jose sacking so there's that.

I also know a better, healthier, squad absolutely fell to pieces last time we sacked a manager.

So that's where I'm at. A bit too scarred to dive into the unknown but have no problems with those who do

Just thinking about that side we just played against and not one of them looked like an athlete. A dozen or so chubby chancers that got to every ball first. Always had a foot in to get the ball off us. Ran their fat arses off.

Had to google who Raskin was and he ran our midfield ragged. Looks like they found him in the nearest Aldi car park, halfway through his third bottle of Buckie.

And then you have our lot. All poncing around with expensive haircuts and clean shorts, generally being fucking big girls blouses, thinking the world owes them a win. I’d have them running up and down sand dunes for a fucking fortnight after that.

yes of course when we start spending the most in the league it's not about transfer fees anymore but wages.

6th highest in the league and 2nd highest in terms of money spent since Postenoclue was appointed. ...we are joint 12th in the league.

It’s about squad. Generally the better players cost more in wages, agent fees and transfer fees but you also need good scouting. Our squad needs a hell of a lot of work, with or without Ange. Our front line is pants.
