Genuinely pity the people who can't see through Postecoglou. This is the poorest Spurs team I've seen. Some of the coaching issues boarder on Christian Gross levels of incompetence. The idea that more and better players carries this crap to titles tells me you don't understand what you are watching.

I think he will be fired in the summer or sooner. But I'm telling you believers this. He is out of his depth and getting badly exposed. The coaching issues I was highlighting in our win over United away are still there. That's not stubbornness it's simply competency. He'll never work at this level again.

No one else has a coach who would blatantly rush our main two senior centre back in to the lineup in the same game.

Poor Van de Ven has to get through about 50 high intensity sprints a game to cover for our huge gaps. His hamstrings will be absolutely fucked if he has to keep playing under this coach.
Have you not watched all or nothing. Jose tried to rush every single injury back. No Ange fan and do not think he can succeed but don’t make up stuff.

Problem I have is I do not think we have properly diagnosed the problem.

Is Ange tactics a problem? Probably Yes the naivety of failing to foul in the transition and ignoring the smaller parts of the game like set pieces. Can add many more weaknesses.

Is the squad good enough? Of course not it has not been good enough starting XI since 2017/18.

Is Levy the problem? Yes but he has not always been. He did have a plan to drive success at the club but we are pretty much at the end of the plan and the problem is that it ignored the super rich buying Football Clubs.

So to turn the corner we need Levy to retire. A new manager and a massive squad rebuild.

This is a massive job.

It's alright to want him out, and still perfectly fine to bring across your messages of wanting him out, without constantly insulting the current manager of a club you are supporting with things like fat cunt, dickhead etc.

We can swear at anyone else outside of the club. But doing it to someone who's still part of us, honestly, it just isn't necessary.

I'd be surprised if Van De Ven didn't come in the top 20 for sprints per game if you adjust for minutes he has been out for, he makes a LOT of high intensity runs for someone with known hamstring issues who runs at a very high intensity and is more likely to have related injuries. Bale was the same.

His issues need to be managed. They aren't.

He isnt even close -

here is from last year - around this time - in 900 odd mins he wasn't even close to the top - same players are showing similar this year too.

Sorry mate.

Oops, pesky facts again.

I'm sure it's Ange's fault again somehow though.

Any of those players have a major hamstring issue?

That same list has him nowhere near one of the league's quickest players either. Which is bullshit, he is the fastest other than Adama.

Not sure I want Stavely or Saudi money lol even if it is the only way to really compete
Stavely doesn't exclusively deal with/for the Saudis. She works all over the Middle east and in the States so it could also be a American consortium that she will facilitate a move for.

But not to sound like a debbie downer: I do suspect that Levy will still be involved somehow. Even with new owners, he'll likely be part of the consortium. Especially since it is rumoured to be a partial sale.

But getting some new investors/owners in could make Levy open the purse strings more for all that I know.

Ange has literally repeated board propaganda
over and over again. I don’t know why he’s popular with anyone who dislike the board, he’s their mouthpiece.
The guy hasn’t said a single word out of turn. He in fact goes out of his way to praise the business we do.

Out of everything that frustrates me with him, this is probably the least of my concerns. There’s no good that can come of it except to make the more rabid anti-Levy people happy, and that’s just not worth the fallout.

Levy isn’t going to change how he operates because a coach complains to the media (except to change out the coach), it creates more turmoil in the club, and creates an additional public media storm that is totally unproductive.

This stuff should be done internally and if a coach wants to talk about it later on, okay I guess, but internal issues should always be kept internal.

He is the fastest. He doesnt have to do anywhere near as many sprints as people think.

Either way he needs to be managed better

Adama has him I think .. he could have been a sprinter if he wanted, perfect build. Pretty sure Van De Ven is the fastest recorded but over a 100m Adama would win a PL sprinting contest.

He'd be way better at that than he is at football.

Anyway, bit off topic..

Tottenham and Liverpool may feel gulfs apart, but in reality they are the eighth- and seventh-richest clubs in the world, fishing in the same water. Tottenham could have had Arne Slot in 2023. Tottenham could have had Díaz in 2022. Tottenham could have assembled a proper backroom structure years ago, instead of leaving their fate in the hands of a spiralling succession of celebrity managers.

But none of this happened, and so what we get instead is salesmanship, the same pot of stasis relaunched in new, more addictive flavours. It’s all going to click soon. At least they didn’t do Woolwich a favour. Ange always wins a trophy in his second season. Europa League, you never know. If you don’t rate his methods, you’re probably racist against Australians. Mikey Moore is going to be one hell of a player. And best of all: only six more years until the year ends in a one again.
