Potter is known for turning a bunch of nomads into a decent team. The only question is, after Ange, can the players take real tactics on board ?
It could also be argued he is like Nuno when we hired him, safe hands, but extremely boring, his Brighton side were extremely low scoring and have arguably improved then regressed under subsequent managers. Not saying he wouldn't improve us but extremely Un-Tottenham like, which may not be a bad thing but likely to go down like a lead balloon.
Don't envy anyone who takes the job, but if we have someone in mind who we want we should ho out and get them now and not waste another 6 months.
 
I don't think anyone replaces him. Too close to the transfer window. Players and their agents won't be too keen on signing with a team if they don't know who the manager will be.
