Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

This could be uncomfortable for me my neighbour is a Barcode and although I never bet we have a small wager on who will finish higher this season.
Whatever you do, don't raise the stakes!

They are a well organised team who have also had injury issues but kept it respectable throughout and are now coming back into great form with a well worked plan. Howe may well have a ceiling of getting Newcastle flirting with Europe and I'm sure the Saudis will replace him with a flashier name in the next couple of seasons, he reminds very much of Mark Hughes at City, but he is certainly a better and more proven manager than Ange and I fully expect him to get the better of us again.
I'd be quite happy to have Howe as our coach

I actually had this written before Newcastle battered United tonight, but everything points to another defeat at home.

They will dismantle us. I don't see how Ange survives another defeat at home.

I just don’t see it. For whatever reason Levy seems invested in him. Probably because he won’t speak out about lack of investment or signings or whatever but he just seems to back him.

Will the pressure be too much if we get hammered? I don’t think so
the detail may be in the contract? Who blinks first? The performance clauses will be ticked off and the board will then meet?
1. Europe qualification via PL (if top 4 or 5 is out of sight) 2. League Cup first leg 9 January ..... decision. ?? 3 - Europa won't be left to chance and we may have a new manager by then (24 January Hoffenheim) after NLD (if it gets that far 16 Jan).

Chadli was a good player IMO, 11 PL goals in a season is no mean feat for a wide player. Made a mistake going to a shit West Brom side when PL teams started getting monopoly money all the way to the bottom and started looking shitter in shitter teams, if he had moved to a better side his career trajectory would have been very different IMO.
Brennan Johnson is chadli reincarnated.
Yeah got 11 PL goals but like Johnson you'd forget he was even on the pitch.

It just doesn’t feel like they are going to sack him. There’s not enough negative noise in the press. No training ground arguments or players fed up of training. Nothing.

Results are awful and he should go but it doesn’t feel like it’s close yet.

Going 3 at the back with an 18 year old midfielder; a 19 year old whose never made a PL start and Romanian who can barely kick the ball even when he doesn't have a dodgy ankle is... a brave decision.

But why the hell not?

Thought Ange was all about being brave. He talks tough and about playing bravely. However he is none of the sort he is risk averse. As identified by picking VDV and cuti v chavs as he thought he’d go with his tried and trusted.

I know what you mean, and I won't pretend I don't have doubts too however, there is simply no way he can survive losing the next three league games. Newcastle at home, and Woolwich and Everton away. Takes him up to 19th January and by then we will be in a relegation fight.

The way we are playing, the best we can hope for is a draw against Newcastle and a draw against Everton. I don't see us winning either, and actually I think we will lose both. The Woolwich game is an absolute write off.

I know we've been saying it for ages, and we keep moving the goalposts, we have a poor few games, Ange survives, then we say ok it'll be the next run of games, but it's getting to a crunch point now. If things don't improve now, we will be in a fight at the bottom, with a manager who can't keep a clean sheet or pick up a result at home, which is a recipe for disaster.

Levy's arse will go at that point. He can't have Spurs go down, I know it's unlikely but if there's a chance, the risk cannot be taken, it would be an utter disaster for his investment.
