Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Nagelsmann wasn't in the frame for the Germany job at that time .

He was my number one pick but it was all quite odd. he was approached by Chelsea, looked close at their project and rightfully decided it was a terrible idea as he'd have no control over player incomings and outgoings.
Clear path for us, reports in Germany seemed like it was gonna happen . Then we randomly came out with a statement saying we admire him but we aren't interested
Nothing from Nagelsmann's camp, just our lot saying we have not intention to meet

Very odd, either the club for some bizarre reason weren't interested, maybe got wind of his Chelsea demands or we just had no plans to be too ambitious again and work at a much slower and cheaper pace with a guy who won't rock the boat

You also forgot Dezerbi from your list, supposedly turned us down too
I bet you Levy called Nagelsmann, but ze germanz told him "fick dich, geizig arschloch"

Anyone else think that Sam Johnstone would be a bit of a coup for the club?

Of course the usual mob will still find a way to avoid giving Daniel his due for pulling off such a masterstroke but that's the state of this toxic fanbase in 2025

I'm gonna try to ignore all of the negativity

right , I'm going to make myself a pot noodle and watch 3 hours of Sam Johnstone highlight compilations on youtube

I'm proper tottenham me

So why does everyone crawl all over Johnson, who is on a part for goal threat, more than Son?
If Son's only contribution to matches is to score the odd goal but the knock on effect is to ruin the team performance, then that's not good for anyone but him and his sad little fans who don't care if we win or lose.

For some reason, people think goals change games.

I can't get over this notion that scoring more might translate into more wins ?

Must be a fad, despite going back to 1882. Never catch on. Perhaps it needs more marketing like publicising 'Its more fun in the Championship and National League'

That'll show those buggers that want goals and goalscorers where they went wrong !

I'm already extremely worried about this transfer window. The fact we are linked with completely unrealistic targets like Grealish and Olmo makes me think that there is nothing actually concrete to report on... We know Lange likes to work in silence so hopefully there is talks ongoing with realistic targets in the background and not just more kids! But everything being reported so far just looks like total nonsense!
I’d ignore the main stream rumours , last few years we have been quite good about keeping things quiet - whoever we sign will come out of the blue

If we were serious at all about saving this season then we'd have signed a new goalkeeper by this weekend so that he could start the Liverpool game on Wednesday!

Forster did well for the first few games but he's been completely exposed the last few weeks and is just not up to this level. We can't expect to beat any good teams with him in goals

Grealish on loan for 6 months wouldn't be the worst deal but it just shows how clueless we are in the market.

We just aren't a serious club. Instead of signing someone like Eze in the summer and sorting that position out for the next 5 years, we sign Werner again on loan who is clearly shit, he obviously and predictably doesn't work out, we are now stuck with his wages until the summer, and on top of that sign a kid in Odobert who has predictably not done anything, even without his injuries, he looked miles off making an impact in the PL. So now we are scrambling around to take on a 30 year old on high wages. No complaints if it's just a loan, but Maddison and Grealish in the same team, are we building a boyband or a football team?

And if we are committing to sign him permanently, we are a joke. Turning into West Ham.

Same with Rashford, if we even entertained the idea of signing him....

Levy all over. We will end up bringing in someone who is a big name because the fans are on their knees, and it will be a headline signing, but it won't actually be a smart football signing.

I know Janaury is the time for desperation generally, and we are desperate, but we are desperate because we make poor signings and decisions in previous windows.

Instead of identifying top talent and bringing them in at a premium, we end up going for opportunities, and often they don't work out, so we end up spending more money on 3 opportunities instead of signing that one top player.

Penny wise, pound foolish.

I have a feeling that this guy is making up his info.
How many times are Spurs going to watch Patterson before making a decision? And why on earth would Sunder sell their best goalie while they're very much in the promotion race?
Not will they sell Bellingham.

He is 100% making his info up. I wouldn't even bother clogging this forum up with his nonsense. He has appeared this window out of nowhere. He's a complete attention seeker.
