Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

I feel like ordinarily the tone of the conversation would be. "Yeah, should've probably got booked for that tackle... But the first one absolutely wasn't a booking so it's evened out".

Opposition fans you expect this kind of crying, but I've rarely seen a melt down like this from pundits or journalists. It's so bizarre that it's almost creepy. A collective hysteria over not much.

english media are basically liverpool tv

What is impressing me is the way Bergvall, Spence and Gray are getting more and more confident in their ability play at this level. Going for steals, making tricky passes, etc. Bodes very well for the future of this team.

Indeed.

I am so impressed with the 3 of them, but for mine Gray has been a standout. Out of position, playing every game, and such a calm character on the field.

We are one game away from a final. I think we have a really good shot at this. Pool will be knee deep in a fight for the prem, and we have a few players coming back.

So who gets POTM...

21 year old debutant GK who only arrived on Sunday
18 Yr old match winner
Gray, the teenage CM playing at CB
Spencer the RB playing at LB
Agre with your summary but

MoTM Dom imo

Made that goal out of absolutely nothing, a real hit and hope from Porro
Laid it perfectly for Lucas
Took his "goal" superbly, yeah I know it didn't count but still
Led the line AGAIN
chased down every time keeper had it
must be made of something special

Last comment, nothing has been made of the fact we 9 minutes (plus a few seconds short of 10 minutes) extra time on the second half where on earth did that come from?
Especially where there was a notable stoppage in the first half and accounted for 11 minutes being added on. Bent fuckers

Insanely disappointed but not surprised to see that the punditry is all about how bergvall should have been sent of apparently? I didn’t see the game but really doesn’t matter considering the joke handball they got in the UCL final, they can never complain again.

I thought the Newcastle goal should have stood at the weekend given the injustices we’ve suffered in the past and how I think tje game should be played. But really shitty of Sky/TNT to dismiss our win by focusing on the Bergvall fouls instead of the wind while literally saying while laughing “I don’t think the goal should have stood but that’s football” at the weekend.
BBC football daily was quite refreshing this morning. They were pretty balanced and said basically Liverpool defending was the reason for the goal. Sky was insufferable last night.

Albeit we lost to Newcastle, that’s two really positive performances from the lads and Ange, and with some tactical shifts in play to cope with the opposition.

We should have players back this month and at least one more signing. Let’s get behind the team.

Having a keeper who can regularly beat the press is a game changer, would love to see him lineup with Romero at the back and Gray somewhere in that vicinity as his partner CB or a 6, good luck trying to press us high up the pitch.
