Be quiet fella. In the category of 'most pointless things ever read' your posts all make the top 10.

Now simmer down because I find you obnoxious, arrogant and boring. No need to reply - don't waste mine (or anyone else's time) on here again.

You've never posted anything on here that you've been right about, and it's quite sad really. If you must insist on maintaining your loathsome presence on this forum, I must ask, nay, demand that you put some actual thought into your posts.

Cheers.

Haha who do you think you are? You joker. You post nonsense every day. My post clearly touched a nerve because you know I am right.

It's pretty sad really that you can't accept people have real concerns about Ange, and you think in your mind that is nonsense and pointless. Shows what a deluded person you really are.

I'm in the Ange-out camp so what you said makes no sense whatsoever. Like all of your posts.

Nice try, diddums. And as for who I think I am? Better than you.

You're better than me? Haha. What are we, 10 years old in school? Grow up ffs and learn to accept other people have different opinions.

You might be Ange out, but you are quite clearly still clueless. Just being Ange out doesn't mean you are knowledgable "diddums".

Now, can you stop throwing this thread off topic with your cry baby little vendetta aginst me. If you want to discuss Ange, or debate, go ahead, otherwise, be quiet.

I've no idea where to go with this argument.
There's not really an argument.
Both sides of the Ange in/out debate are too far in their opinionated direction.
It's 6 to one, half a dozen to the other. Some players are maybe not good enough, but lots are. Some of the good ones aren't performing as well as they can, some are. Etc etc.
Sometimes Ange's system works, sometimes it's awful.

It's not as black an white as "if we win it's the the X and if we lose it's the Y" like some make out.

Ah ok.

It definitely is grey. It's not all on Ange. It's not all the players.

Some of it is in our control. Some of it isn't.

Lets hope everything trends in the right direction from now on though.

What's funny is the next game we lose the handful of posters who've suddenly become very active will disappear and the 'Ange out' hardcore will be flooding this and other threads with posts!
I'm one of those that stops posting after our recent losses. I don't feel the need to rant on about my disappointment, and am not interested in the toxic attacking that happens on here regardless of the result. It's simply unending when we lose or draw.

I get that different posters use the site for different reasons, with some needing to vent. That I don't really have an issue with. What I do have an issue with is that it's not about venting for a number of posters, it's about attacking others on here they don't like, just because they have a different view or emotional reaction.

I come on here when we win because, in the main, it's a happier place where we can have a bit of happy banter, celebrating a win for the team I love.

Ask yourself this, which type of poster do you prefer to see in here?

Be quiet fella. Nobody (with a brain) is interested in anything you have to say.

End of.

The team finally plays how some of us have been crying out for under Ange for over 18 months.

Solid at the back, balanced but still attacking philosophy. No more embarrassing Ange ball where we get battered and look a mess in defence.

Now let's hope Ange can make this a consistent thing before we start giving each other BJs.

If Ange can adapt, with the players still behind him, he might be able to turn it around. And I would be delighted if he does because it will show I was wrong about him and he can make us successful. Ultimately that is what we all want.

There's no way though that Wednesday night makes up for all the shite we have seen for such a long time under him. He still urgently needs a consistent sequence of wins in the league, let's not pretend we haven't been dire for a long time there.

He has an opportunity to get a bit of momentum. An easy tie in the FA Cup, we should absolutely batter them, and then we can move on to the NLD where we need to put in a performance and get a result. There is no guarantee we will get a result, so Everton (who will likely have a new manager bounce which is just typical) and the following league games are absolutely crucial.

If we do lose the NLD, he absolutely will need to win at Everton. Otherwise it will be the worst run of results in modern history. I can't see on the basis of recent results, how he can afford to lose the next two or three league games, Woolwich, Everton and Leicester, surely he needs a minimum of 4 points which would be absolutely the bottom of the barrel return to stay in the job.

I think Ange is well aware he's on the verge of the sack, which is why he is making comments about 'hoping he is around to see Gray and Bergvall play in a few years' and he made a couple of comments prematch about he knows results have been unacceptable, I am sure the club have told him this. I feel he knows he is on borrowed time and it really is now or never. Clubs who are around us in the league are sacking managers because the league campaign has been below par, so why should Ange be any different?

If he can get some results in the league, buy some time until Romero and VDV return, he might just turn it around. But honestly, I still don't see it, because even with those two playing we still lost, often.

If he is to survive, Wednesday night needs to be the blueprint from now on. No more ridiculous Ange ball where we look like conceding 5 goals every game.

It felt so good to win, and we have all been feeding off scraps as far as that has been concerned for a long time. We all want Spurs to win, if Ange does that and shows he isn't out of his depth, no complaints. Last night was fantastic, but it needs to be backed up. We could still get battered at Anfield, at Woolwich and Wednesday night will be pretty meaningless in the grand scheme of things.

So if anyone gets carried away about Ange again based on Wednesday, that's upto you, but don't start trying to give it to people who have had real concerns about Ange for a very long time based on very poor results for a very long time. We need to see a hell of a lot of improvement in results before I even get back on the fence let alone think Ange should stay.
A fair appraisal, one I doubt any Ange out supporter would disagree with. Lets hope either someone has had a word in his ear, players maybe? or he has had some sort of epiphany where he has realised Ange-Ball as we know it doesn't work against most EPL sides.
Not a single Spurs supporter wants this bloke to fail, we just realised that he couldn't succeed if he continued with his rigid approach. Looking forward now to see if Liverpool was a one-off. Hopefully note!

Sigh.
I knew it. Fucking knew it.
Anyone seen his new interview in the Grauniad?
Here is a snippet of his arrogance. Note the passive aggressiveness 😅

"For Postecoglou, everything is linked to the overall meddling – along with the unnerving march of technology. “I’m really surprised at how people in this country are so easily letting the game change so much so quickly,” he said. “I just thought people would be a little bit more protective about the sanctity of the game. That’s what I was talking about [after Newcastle]. I wasn’t criticising referees. I didn’t think the [handball] decision was right but it’s just the way of the game.

“There’s a lot of confusion at the moment. That’s my belief – that the game is changing on the basis of technology and I’m saying: ‘Why isn’t anyone speaking up about it?’ Especially in this country where you guys think you’re custodians of the game. You’ve got a song that says: ‘It’s coming home.’ This is your game. And yet it takes an Aussie from the other side of the world to be the one that’s most conservative about changes.

“So my comments about a fair and even playing ground … that’s what they’re about. Against Liverpool, it advantaged us. I wasn’t saying that there was a vendetta against me or Tottenham. Now everything is changing and that was my point. I can see why Arne would be very disappointed [about the Bergvall decision]. I’d be disappointed as well but apparently they’re the rules.”

Ugh.
Why is he talking like this?
Because of one victory against Liverpool???
Just fucking win 2 games in a row in the league, cuck

Interesting username. Love your work.

So do you think He-Man could be gay??

Really good post and a fair summary of where we are. Totally agree on the 4pts minimum needed from the next 3 league games.

My advice, not that you have asked for it! Is to simply ignore those posters who simply are on this forum just to hurl abuse. They wake up in the morning, get their box of mansize (ironic) tissues by their lap top, open up the forum and bang away, literally!

Haha. You've had a mare here "fella". I am sure you'll look back and be embarrassed at this little episode of yours. FWIW you are also saying people who agree with me are brainless as well. Maybe you should have a look in the mirror and question who is the real loathsome one. Espeically when you act so pathetic over a strangers football opinions. 😁
