If your point is about the full time result or extra time result. I think it’s valid to be critical. However, that performance was abysmal , so if you’re defending that level of commitment, running, ability or guile…

Tottenham didn’t go toe to toe and have a go. They did, what they do far too often against inferior teams…and that is drop to their level. That is no more forgivable than AS Moura etc.
 
That was horrible. Shit performance and win in 90 mins then fair enough but needing extra time is really poor. On the plus side another decent day for our younsgters Kinsky, Gray Bergvall and Moore (2nd half) . If there is any encouragement to take this season its those boys.

The team he put out there was strong enough to beat Tamworth by half time. A lot of the players in this squad (we all know who they are) just aren’t good enough I’m afraid, and when those players eventually get moved on, they can have no complaints.

Surely good enough to get past tamworth in normal time
 
This is why we need to spend money on our forward line.

All that work Bissouma and Maddison did so they could have fuck all options in front of them. Our poor forward line is a much bigger issue than our injury hit backline.
 
On the plus side, I actually get it now, reading through you can see why we’re in a weird place supporter wise and generally overall as a club.
 
If you’re getting enraged by a flat performance away at a non league team with a lunchtime kick off then give your head a wobble.

We got through and that’s all that matters.
