The reason why EVERYONE of them had prolonged success was/is BUDGET. Little or nothing to do with being genius's, stick Everyone of them in div one with no money then. We'd see what they're made of
Wenger was a zillion times the manager Ange was/is/will ever be when the Gooners appointed him.Thing is, Wenger had 'only managed' in Japan and at Ligue 1 Monaco, didn't stop him....
I think if the manager is GOOD enough, it doesn't matter where he starts his career...
IF they're good enough, they're good enough that is!![]()
He was still getting shots off around the area with Conte here. even in space now he’s just shifting it on. Is he being told not to shoot from those areas who knows. His ball retention is terrible and is terrified of contact. Sad to say but he shouldn’t be in the team anymore even with all these injuries.
That’s Dragu on the half turn.
Only a matter of time of course! Wouldn't blame the boy if he wanted to return to Prague.
Whoa whoa mate, I don't think we need to be hasty in assigning that particular accolade, there are some pretty generational candidates on here...Aged well
You are the biggest moron on this board. Congratulations
Ah, about Ange getting Pep’s job?
Mikey Moore is bang average.
Doesn't have the physicality to play in the PL.
maybe thats why results been bad
They’ve got no-one to pass to in the right places on the pitch. Everyone is playing really hard, but the system doesn’t fit them / there isn’t a coached system. The strange thing is... As shit as we are.. There's more than a few players that I think have been very positive and are improving all the time. Bergvall, Gray, Spence, Kulusevski, Solanke (before today obviously), Kinsky. So with a good number of players having impressibe individual performances recently.. How is the whole picture so utterly, consistently terrible.
Moore yes.
Did the squad fly up or go by team coach? They are usually very quick with updates from the club even after losses.
Nothing yet which tells me that there's something going on.
Right now he is.Yep.....this!
We destroy careers at Tottenham, not make careers. Poch is the only manager in the last 20 years to leave us with any kind of regard.
Kane had to leave for the sake of his career, numerous players have left us to go on and win multiple trophies.
We're a bang average club, with arguably the best facilities in the world, a huge fan base that is fickle but loyal, and sit in the top 10 richest clubs in the world. There's only one reason we're so bad. Ange is not the biggest problem we have...
These players are fighting for Ange. Levy needs to wake the fuck up and get some moves in motion now!
Dragusin was only ever cover for VdV and Romero - he should play as often as Davies. He also would be much better under a less-lunatic coach.Moore made a big difference coming on but it's not enough to keep ange. He is useless as is dragusin. Who ever scouted dragusin needs to be fired as does ange.
I say again, we could triple Iraola's salary and still pay him 60% of what we're paying Ange (absolutely criminal we paid so much for a guy with no credible experience).A prospective manager looking at this squad
Keepers - Vicario, Kinsky, Austin
RBs Spence, Porro
CBs Romero, VDV, Dragu, Davies
LBs Udogie
CM: Gray, Sarr, Biss, Bentancur
AM: Kulusevski, Maddison, Bergvall
WFD: Odobert, Son, Yang, Moore, Johnson, werner
ST: Solanke, Richy, Lankshear
the squad is good, defo need a LB, Prob another CB, and a Froward either wide or central but in a league cup semi, FA Cup still and a real chance in Europe
of course you'd want the gig! it's a massively underperforming and injury ridden squad
Not to mention that there's been almost 30 years of evolution in the sport between Wenger rocking up at the neighbour's and Ange rocking up with us.Wenger was a zillion times the manager Ange was/is/will ever be when the Gooners appointed him.
