Match Everton (A) 19Jan, 2pm KO

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

I meant just to solidify us and keep us up.

:nunothumb:

Munn should be looking at another manage now.

Despite out position, transfer budget (which is still fourth/fifth) highest in the PL and Levy's reputation would still attract some quite capable candidates.

I would certainly put Iraola at the top of the list, but hope that whomever comes in clears the deck with any of the current coaches including Mason.

Listen....Levy part owns the club and if he thinks its ok to go down then he will let that happen..... all us Spurs fans can do is cry and moan ....unless..... no one turns up at the next home game and the bean counters go mental and are shocked into doing something positive. We can still watch it on Sky or the old firestick..... radical I know.....
People have to stop going to the home games. When the ground is only quarter full for a sustained period they will have to either sell or buy some players to get the bums back on the seats

There are only some tickets left on ticket exchange for Leicester. It is headed for another sell out.

Pub manager. Moore is a big talent. Son ain't captain material. Given great service and a club legend so cant knock him. Nature has caught up with him. Next game just play regulion left back and spence right back to balance defence. Davies should have left us years ago. Poch must be laughing hes still there. If poch has some free time till may get him back or redknapp for interim till end of season. No more mason mates shit.

Five points off the bottom three.

Two win swing?

Never say it's not going to happen.

I was there in 1977, and laughed at that prospect. Impossible, unthinkable, never going to happen to a big club like us.

It did, was ugly, embarrassing, unnecessary, and made us the laughing stock of football.

But not impossible, even in today's Premier League.
Was having a look at 1976/77. We were 23 points off 22 games in 1976/77 just one less than the 24 off 22 games we are in now. We lost 11 of first 22 games in 1976/77. We’ve lost 12 of first 22 games. We are operating at a comparable level, albeit the bar as regards a points total to stay up now is typically a few points lower than it was back then.

Looking at Madders’ interview, it looks like Ange has been gaslighting them: he says about ‘needing resilience’ - they need a better coach. Ange has made it their fault - these footballers are just kids and need to be well away from self-aggrandising narcissists.

Both can be true.

The players aren't blameless.....

If only the likes of Son & Maddison saying stuff like this actually manifested in their performances and mentality.

It was a down-grade of the shambles we served up against Rangers FC at Ibrox : but then again , today we were up against a crack Premier League outfit .

So let’s have some perspective please.

What did Kinski and Ben Davies do wrong?
Thought both were as professional as they could be.

Actually, thought all were okay- Dragusin got all in a tizzy, Sarr ran a lot but kept giving it away, Bergvall had been watching himself on too many Tik-Toks. Gray was all discombobulated in the first half- much better in the second. I’m giving quite a lot of free passes today because there was a lot of no-one touching the ball which I think is a system/ coaching issues.

When their second went in, I admit I was a bit shocked. I really thought we had enough to beat them. At 3-0, there was the sullen realisation that we are well and truly fucked.

If I'm trying to be balanced (my heart is not in this, but I try to find some clarity in these times):

Despite Moyes, they have their new manager bounce and only one significant injury.
"We only lost by one" - Spurs '24-'25.
I only saw the second half and we were the better team for 60% of it.
To add insult to our self-injury, the ref was a fucking twat to us, again. Did we piss on their chips or something?
We're still in the cups. yay.
Our goal difference will probably keep us up.

To me, it looks like everyone knows we're all-in on the cups. We have to win something to drag this shitshow of a season (and Ange's career) out of the bin. I don't care what. I don't see it, but it ain't over til it's over.

I used to look forward to the footie.

He’s got 3 and a half years left at 5m a year. I’d want the sack too, as opposed to walking away.
No he hasn’t

Mason could go ‘down’ and work with the U21s? Or go to one of the Champo clubs we have a reasonable relationship with.

Ange made moyes look like pep first half. Worst half I've seen since we lost 6-1 to chelsea in 98. Must admit ref gave them everything. We were dreadful first half but standard of refereeing in this country is sub standard.

Not sure Everton should be too cocky. We played like we played and as soon as they were under a bit of pressure they still very nearly shat the bed. Moyes did Moyes things ... keep bringing on defenders and circle the wagons.
