Player Heung-Min Son (손흥민)

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Exactly. Yet, he's more efficient than Kulu. It's strange that even at his low, he contributes more than Kulu when he's at his very best.

We should stick with Son because his form will return with a new manager. And when Son is on form, even at 32-33, he's better than anything we can get to this club. We're ranked 15th ffs and those top players are too expensive for this cheap club.
He is leaving end of this season.... No way he will stay here under these circumstance under a new manager.
We should also look to sell him and get what we can.

I'd rather have a shot Son than BJ, Werner, even Deki. Guy can do it for a few more years.
The guys you think are better are shit even in their peak.
He was absolutely woeful yesterday, offering less than a poshwank. I have absolute clarity that he’s finished, his touch is gone

Could argue he’s more goal threat than Werner, probably be right. Both horrendous players that have strangled and stifled us this season

Is Son our only current player that have been considered world class? Yes.

Yet, the club wants to get this guy out of the club. Out of all the guys, he is targeted. At the same time they have no problem that an unknown Aussie takes us to 15th in the league. That's not an issue.

What a pathetic small club mentality amongst some of the fans here.

Ange is getting cred for the first 10 game at the beginning of his tenure.

What if the actual change was Son being captain? Son was a force and that was just over 1 year ago.

So maybe we should credit Son with this run rather than Ange.

Because Ange was new, he had still not implemented his system fully. Today he has and look at the result.

Son was able to lead the team for a while, but it came to an end when the big boss decided to play a high line against Chelsea when only 9 men. Against that, Son and the team could do fuck all. That was Angeball at its peak. Today the system is broken and so are his apologists.

You are a ridiculous man.

Yes we should stick with Son. We could have his dad as physio and manager, his Uncle mopping up at Centre half, his mum in goal and his sister as the midfield dynamo. Honestly give it a rest ffs.

Why? If you give Ange cred for it, I think you're ridiculous. Either it was a fucking fluke or it was not Ange at all. Could have been anything. Because if you watch Ange after 1.5 years, he's in 15th.

But you think he was the sole reason for us winning so much during his early tenure? And then he just decided to stop winning? You're absolutely ridiculous if you believe that is what happened.

Step away from the internet and get some quiet time... You're a mess.

I wasn't on board with Ange's appointment but my son was enthused at the time. I was indifferent.

My son was adament that what Ange needed were wingers who could beat their man. It was because I couldn't have cared less at the time that I remembered these details further down the road when Ange was let down during the summer window. I kept being told by my son that dribbling wingers were the key to Ange's tactics.

Levy gave Ange Werner and Odebert when he wanted Neto and Eze.

Levy sets them all up to fail in the end.

Jol got saddled with Zokora when Levy sold Pedro Mendes and Carrick.

Levy has been doing this forever.
I'd argue that there are very few wingers in world football that can (consistently) beat a man with the ball at their feet.

Son received a throughball in the first half and was in on goal but futzed around with it until Tarkowski caught up to him.

Bergvall played Kulusevski through with a great pass near the end yesterday that pacy Johnson has been begging for all season.

The wrong-footed winger trend is super annoying and (mostly) sets up players to fail.

You're the type of fan that thought Dele would come good again.

That's your preference which is fine.

Sadly you are not the manager / head coach of THFC.

The wingers who can beat their man were supposed to provide crosses for the centre forward in Angeball.

This was the theory as it was told to me by my son; who was an Angeologist but is now leaning toward my preference for Marco Silva having called me an idiot for thinking this in early October.

We are 15th.... stop living in the past. If we wanted him out we wouldn't have extended his contract.
He along with others are playing very poorly. Mostly Ange's fault but Son himself hasn't been a great leader this past season.
He stayed for too long. We need a refresh/overhaul of this pathetic squad/manager and the owner.
