The thing what bugs me about Ange and his press conferences, is he moans about being hard done with injuries, but what about Leicester away, Newcastle away, Palace away, Fulham home, Ipswich home, Brighton away.

He fielded a very strong side in those games and we still lost or dropped points. I'd love someone to just respond with that when he wheels out the usual injury excuses. Yes we do have injuries now, but we didn't earlier in the season and we were still shit.

If we had won a few of those games earlier in the season, it would have given us a buffer and we wouldn't be where we are now in the league.

I made this point in September, that it isn't a good sign when you are losing despite performances being ok, because as soon as those performances drop off, we'll be fucked. But everyone was like, no we are on the verge of something special with Ange. LOL.

Anyway, now the leaks have started from the players, yeah he's fucked.

He's definitely not on your Christmas card list is he

For once I can see how for some players training might actually be too much. Some of these guys are playing full minutes twice per week, in addition to training. I can’t imagine there’s a lot of time to recover , doubly so for the likes of Dragusin who seem to keep having to play through a knock every so often
What else do they have to do? It’s total bollocks. They have nothing else to do apart from train, play, eat, sleep and recover.

Playing with a knock is part of professional sport, it’s nothing that isn’t happening at other clubs or in other sports.

The mentality of this club is so weak, it’s frightening.

I actually think Sami Mikobel has gone early on his story, trying to be first to break anything expecting the sacking of Ange soon.

I think the players are behind Ange, and training isn't as bad as being made out. I can't see Marco Silva being a Lange guy, but Frank, McKenna and Iraola will be. I don't think Ange's future will be determined by Thursday's game, but definitely by Sunday's.
Was he the one who mentioned players seem to be spilt?

I understand the average 'workday' for a footballer is about four hours - training around 8am-12pm including recovery, physio etc., and then the afternoon off. Some are super into the gym, others aren't, as you would expect. The games come thick and fast though.

I can understand the stresses and strains from intensity in games - which is why training needs to be at the right level, of course - but I don't see how fit young guys in excellent health complain about being knackered, it seems odd to me. Mind you we do seem to get A LOT of injuries in training, too many to just be a coincidence...

I think you’re underestimating the impact on a persons body, even professional athletes.

Guys like Porro look absolutely knackered. The same thing will likely happen to Spence.

Oh fuck me the professional athlete paid a motza has to play twice a week. Cry me a river ffs. 🤦‍♂️

Salah is fucking 32/33 and playing twice a week and his performances haven’t dropped off and I doubt Slot doesn’t train them hard.

And that cunt has contract issues.

If true it’s a recurring issue with us. Conte said it best. Too comfortable. Players have too much power. In any other job you can’t influence the management of the organisation or refuse to do your job.

Seriously though 2 games a week! In my amateur days I played of a weekend, had a weekday work comp and then a Thursday night indoor comp. Plus a fuck around most nights. And I was generally stoned too.

Salah is a phenomenon, bit of an anomaly player

Put my Leicester tickets on the exchange last night and they sold in 16 minutes.

Not sure what that says other than the support for the club still seems to be there. (Or Leicester fans got them?)
Bastard. Mines still there.
Is it on TV?

I see the 'training is too much' leaks have began again.. We all know how this ends. For all Ange is getting wrong, the players once again are getting away with it as much as the chairman and board.
This isn't really a Tottenham thing, you do realise that? It's just the state of the game. Every club that has a failing manager will, unequivocally end with leaks from players like this.

I agree training can't be that bad. It looks like none of them have been since 2023.

So what’s that say about Thick Dundee ?

That he's the same as/worse than a washed up, 64 year old journeyman like Bentitez.
Except he as absolutely none of the history to lean on.

They might look knackered to you, but we pay a team of coaches, physios and sports scientists to maintain them at optimum levels. The same as every other top club. Our players workload is no different to any of those.

The whole tiredness thing is a lame excuse to justify failure. It doesn’t exist at a winning club because it’s not allowed to.

When did I underestimate injuries?

I said that for once it’s easy to see how some players may be fed up with his training. Guys who are playing 100minutes twice per week, week in week out, might be fed up with doing high intensity training in between.

The culture/mentality of our club just screams failure to me.

So the drop in form of players like Udogie, and Porro is purely down to Ange? Fatigue doesn’t play a single part in it? Or are both just shit players?

Liverpool are top of the league and Salah is as fit as a fiddle. Bit different from us being shit and Son looking broken.

As for what Conte said. That was was 2 years ago.
Since then, Lloris, Royal, Dier, Sanchez, PEH, Kane, Moura, Winks, Skipp, Rodon, Ndombele, Lo Celso, Tanganga, Sessegnon have all gone.

Of the team, including subs from Sunday, Davies, Spence, *Porro, Deki, Son, Richie, Reguilon are all that's left from Conte's time.

*Only had about a month with Conte.

Go further back and Son and Davies are the only 2 left from Poch's time.

This isn't a Spurs thing. It happens with every squad. There were plenty of leaks from United slagging ETH off.

IMO, there's far too many fraud managers out there. They're winging it and chop and change jobs every 2 years their entire career. Ange is no different. Players can sniff them out to some degree.
They don't seem to say much if a) the team is doing well and b) they're playing regularly

If the team struggles and, especially, if they're sat on the bench the players whine.
