Transfers January Transfer Thread 24/25

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

I think he knows it’s all over and he’s not getting any more players. Not any that will be of any use anyway. Probably another Gedson Fernandes or Danjuma level player on loan is all he’s being offered and is rightly telling the club no. He’s down beat for sure but rarely gives anything important away in interviews.
Definitely the most downbeat we've seen him. This club does this to every coach, one way or another.

Barely any movement in the Jan market from anyone.

Liverpool on the brink of a title win, and they haven't blinked.

Woolwich seem to have thrown in the towel.

Maybe there will be a lot of movement on deadline day. Why not just make the transfer window 5 days in that case; everyone just seems to hang around til the last day anyway.

But really. Its very odd that Spurs fans think they should be anywhere near the likes of Chelsea, United, Liverpool, Woolwich, City.

Spurs got lucky with Bale and Kane; and are now back to being a regular club.

Do West Ham, Palace, Everton fans cry that they aren't winning every year?

We picked a mid table club to support. The club and board aren't interested in going to the next level by using financial doping, so we now have to wait until the next Bale or Kane come along to give us a purple patch.......Bergvall looks like he could be decent in 3 or 4 years.
Go away u absolute Joke of a spurs fan. U must be fkin trolling.

Fans may as well shut up shop and come back in 4 years in that case. You know, save a bit of money like our owners

Wages down to 42% of revenue. I think a record and a record by a clear miles for the premier league.

Edit: I am wrong, it is us but according to AI we got to 39% in 18/19 which was the record.

I’ve always been an ardent Levy supporter and appreciate what he has done. But it’s become more clearer than ever that a campaign to either find better owners or get him to change his ways, needs to happen.

if you don’t spend money, we don’t spend money, that should be the approach

This is 23/24. I’m almost certain we’ve further reduced wages this season so it’s even starker and it’ obviously shows

Bald cunt has taken a hatchet to our ambitions

Fucking scum

Revenue is twice Villas, that’s wild considering we didn’t have Europe

Shows why we have backed off from even attempting to compete from a football perspective - the entertainment dome doesn’t need football to recoup massive money

reckon it more like 30-35% this season…. Wages reduced by at least another 20M and we have Europa and cup runs so revenue up by another 40M

Madness. Honestly this is staggering vs peers. Others are 60-90%, we are around a third of that. What the actual f

Oh look at that, the very top teams that are actually competing are spending £100M+ more than Spurs on wages.

I wonder why we keep losing out on signings to clubs like these? It's a real fucking head-scratcher.

Edit: A 3% increase in wages over a 5 year period? We are truly showing ambition, glad the stadium we were waiting on to be able to compete got finished. We're really reaping the rewards on the pitch now. Watch us rise etc.
